ShowMed was formed in Manchester in 1999 and currently has over 250 employees, both full and part time, throughout the UK providing a medical management, safety and event first aid service to an array of clients in the leisure industry, which includes sport, music, conferences, exhibitions, TV and film production plus much more. This is achieved by providing a professional service through the deployment of highly trained, efficient and friendly staff. A happy team at the Manchester New Years Light and Fireworks event last night in St Peter’s Square, looking after the 20,000+ crowd that turned out.

We also had a Paramedic led team at the o2 Academy Brixton for Defected NYE; and a Paramedic led team at o2 Academy Birmingham.

2025 took us on a journey of adventure but 2026 is already profiled to exceed that.

Two full house crowds for us today at Edgeley Park Stockport for the match against Lincoln City; and at the leasing.com stadium for Macclesfield FC versus Buxton.

Thanks to all the staff giving up their Boxing Day so these games can take place.

We are currently recruiting for a healthcare professional to join the team at either our Bolton or Long Buckby locations. Initially on a fixed term contract of six months.

We are open to full/part time and after a period of in-office time we would consider hybrid working.

If you have at least two years experience in quality & compliance, a can-do attitude, strong knowledge and experience of CQC regulations and standards, with the ability to implement and influence then this is your next role.

We’ve been at Warwick Castle for the past few weeks and into the New Year providing the medical cover for their festive ice rink and other attractions.

Training was provided to the Ice Marshals in patient retrieval and safety from the rink.
