Bolton Wanderers Supporters' Trust The official page of the Bolton Wanderers Supporters' Trust, est. January 2016.

The Bolton Wanderers Supporters’ Trust is a democratic, not for profit organisation of supporters, committed to strengthening the voice of supporters in the decision making process at the club, and strengthening the links between the club and the community it serves. BWFCST is about channeling the passion of our supporters into a forward thinking organisation that looks to the long term, offering solutions to the club and the community. We are firmly of the belief that as long as there is a Bolton Wanderers Football Club, there will be a BWFCST.

2025 is almost over, what was your highlight watching Bolton Wanderers this year?

20/12/2025

Jay-Jay Okocha
So good, they named him.
A true Barclaysman.
The Premier League wasn’t ready.

At Bolton Wanderers, he didn’t just play football.
He performed it.
Stepovers. Feints. Ankles gone. Crowds laughing in disbelief.
Defenders guessed.
They were always wrong.

“You can’t coach what Jay-Jay has,” said Sam Allardyce.
“It’s pure instinct.”
He had defenders in a complete twist, making them look like amateurs.

Bolton weren’t meant to have a magician.
But they did.
And he carried them to Europe.
Thierry Henry once said,
“If I paid to watch one player, it would be Okocha.”

This was Barclays heritage.
Pure vibes.
Pure joy.

Jay-Jay didn’t chase stats.
He chased moments.
And left the Premier League smiling behind him.
