🚭 Stop Smoking Service – Online Sessions 🚭

Our Health Improvement Stop Smoking Service is running online overview sessions via Microsoft Teams until March 2026.

Each session will:
✔️ Explain referral pathways
✔️ Walk through the full client journey (from first contact to 12 weeks of support)
✔️ Introduce evidence-based quit aids and practical tools to support people to stop smoking

👉 You only need to attend one session.

Patient Coffee Morning at Little Hulton Health Centre

Local residents are warmly invited to attend a relaxed Patient Tea/Coffee Morning at Little Hulton Health Centre on Tuesday 2nd December 2025, from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

The event will offer patients the opportunity to enjoy a friendly tea or coffee while hearing updates about the work undertaken by local GP practices and the Primary Care Network (PCN) over the past year. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions, share ideas, and chat with staff and fellow patients in an informal setting.

The Coffee Morning will be held in The Meeting Room at Little Hulton Health Centre (4 Longshaw Drive, Little Hulton, Manchester M28 0BB). No booking is required, everyone is welcome to simply drop in.

This gathering aims to strengthen communication between the community and healthcare teams, encouraging patient voices to play an active role in shaping local services.

🌍 World Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness Week 18-24 November, and we’ll be focusing on this important topic throughout the week. 🌍

Antimicrobial resistance occurs when bacteria adapt and antibiotics become less effective in treating infections. This is a growing global health concern—but the good news is that we can all play a role in protecting antibiotics for the future.

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing helpful information, practical tips, and clear guidance on when antibiotics are (and aren’t) needed, as well as simple steps everyone can take to support safer antibiotic use.
