It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself on here, so for anyone who’s new to my feed, hello! I’m Fee.

I’m a mum to one amazing daughter and one very chilled-out dog, a wild-swimmer, a lover of nature and, of course, a yoga and Pilates enthusiast (and that’s probably putting it lightly!). 😀

My relationship with yoga began many years ago. Initially I used yoga as a fitness tool to stretch off after training sessions, but I soon started to find myself on the mat more and more often. It was whilst living in New Zealand that I finally became hooked on yoga.

On returning to the UK I continued to teach in a secondary school as a French and German teacher, but after 15 years in education I decided it was time for a change. I am qualified as a certified Yoga Instructor specialising in Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Yin Yoga but my interest incorporates many styles of yoga.

During the course of my studies I have developed a fascination of the power of the breath and the restorative side of yoga, which offer an antidote to today’s technology driven, hectic and often solitary world.

More recently I have turned to Pilates as a way to keep my body strong and healthy as I age. I find a regular Pilates practice helps keep the back and spine supported and supple, helping us live our daily lives free from pain and with full range of movement.

I feel blessed to have found yoga and Pilates as they have made a profound difference to my life; I am physically stronger and emotionally more patient and tolerant; I have found balance in my life. I highly recommend giving yoga and/or Pilates a try if you haven’t already. You really won’t regret it! 🤩
