I found this beautiful Ganesha at a lovely little shop . He will now sit in the clinic and studio gracing us with wisdom and healing..

Ganesha, with his elephant head and gentle wisdom, is one of the most loved deities in yoga and Hindu tradition. Son of Shiva and Parvati, he gained his unique form after protecting his mother’s space – a reminder of devotion, courage, and transformation.

Master Tung’s 11.17 – The “Wood Anger Points” 🌿🔥

These are my favourite points of this week! These remarkable points from Master Tung’s Acupuncture system are known for their powerful effect on the Liver and nervous system. Referred to as the Wood Anger Points, 11.17 helps to disperse Liver Qi stagnation and bring emotional balance — especially when anger or frustration is suppressed or unresolved.

🔹 Needled on the left side, opposite the Liver, these points:
• Calm irritability and rage
• Alleviate migraines, TMJ, PMT and menopausal mood swings
• Support emotional release and uplift mild depression
• Lighten the spirit and restore inner calm ✨

🔹 When used bilaterally, they can also:
• Clear sinus congestion and runny noses – great for hay fever season!
• Support skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis
• Help reduce sweaty palms due to nervous tension

These are some of my absolute favourites to use in clinic – simple, elegant, and so effective 💚

I’m excited to let you know that my new Soothe Your Cycle yoga class is officially starting on Wednesday 14 May at 7:20pm! There are just 2 spaces remaining so book on!

This weekly class is designed for women at all stages of hormonal life — from first periods to perimenopause, including those on a fertility journey.

It’s a space to slow down and restore, with:

Have you heard of the 4th Trimester?
The baby has been born, but now the Mother is born. This time can be deeply emotional, exhausting, joyful — a powerful mix of experiences.

From the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this is one of three key transitions in a woman’s life that offer an opportunity to restore and support long-term health and well-being. The other two are the start of menstruation and menopause.

After birth, you may feel depleted — blood loss, hormonal shifts, lack of sleep. This is a time for deep nourishment, rest, and support. Allow yourself to receive help where you can. It’s a precious window to heal and bond with your baby.

Acupuncture is a gentle but powerful way to support your recovery and emotional well-being. The clinic is a safe and nurturing space — if you need help, I’m here.
