Day 6 — Myth: “Supplements fix hair loss.”

Supplements are there to supplement — not correct.
Most off-the-shelf hair supplements sit around recommended daily allowance (RDA) levels.
If you’re already low, RDA dosing will often keep you low, not restore you.

That doesn’t mean nutritional deficiencies aren’t real.
They absolutely are — and they’re one of the more common causes of hair loss seen clinically.

But the mistake is guessing:
Micronutrients like Iron, B12, and vitamin D need to be measured, not assumed.
It’s the optimum level that influences hair — not the act of taking a supplement.

Supplements don’t magically go to the hair.
The body meets its own needs first.
Only when there’s enough to go around does hair benefit.

Without blood tests, you’re often just taking something and hoping it’s relevant.
Supplements are supportive, not corrective.
Correction starts with diagnosis. Not guesswork....oh, and don't bother with Biotin!
