We have just used Nigel’s services for our mum’s funeral and would highly recommend Nigel and his team. He goes above and beyond and talked us through every step. Whenever we had a question, Nigel was quick to respond, and he worked with us to give our mum the perfect send off. He listened to all of our ideas for the personal touches that we wanted, he kept in touch, and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was carried out with kindness and dignity. From the first phone call, Nigel was a true professional and arranged and helped us beyond belief. He advised us of all options available and helped us pick the right choices for extras, without any duress. He was available at all hours of the day and nothing we asked for was too much. The funeral day itself went as smoothly as it could have done, leaving us to grieve in peace without any hassles. The care continued after the cremation and we as a family are truly grateful to him and his team. I recommend SCFS highly for professionalism with humanity shown through the process.

NIGEL SELLICK AN AMAZING FUNERAL DIRECTOR FROM BEGINNING TO END!
The loss of a loved one is always a devastating experience. Arranging a funeral and everything that goes with it is equally traumatic. We decided to call in to South Coast Funeral Services Bournemouth Ltd The Kinson Office and were immediately greeted and put at ease by the Funeral Director Nigel Sellick. It was obvious that after his 35 years in the business his professionalism shone through. It was clear to all of us that he was including the very best of his knowledge.
A huge thankyou to Nigel & Chelsea for your kind, caring and compassionate nature, thank you for the never ending cups of coffee and tissues when things got very emotional.
Dad died two hours before his 90th Birthday and whilst laying in the Chapel of Rest, Nigel placed all of his birthday cards around the room. The grandchildren’s cards were placed around his head and the 2 cards from his daughters were placed on his heart. These special, caring and personal touches meant so much to all of us.
Nigel continued with his excellent aftercare once the formalities of the day were over. Dads funeral service at Bournemouth Crematorium was simply amazing from beginning to end thanks to Nigel & his team.
a Huge thank you to Claire Bishop ( Funeral Celebrant) who spent some time with us going through aspects of dads life . She is a beautiful person inside and out.

We are so grateful and lucky to have experienced such a professional funeral director who provided our every needs and took care of my late mother and us as a family whilst we were grieving. He made our first funeral experience less stressful and catered for our Filipino customs. He made sure we were all comfortable in his funeral home and let us stay with the person deceased all day with no complaints about when we were going to go home like other funeral homes such as George Scott! Nigel organised the entire funeral and researched videographers and florists also. We came everyday and Nigel and his team were so welcoming and kind, it was joyful to come there to have their company too.
WE 110% RECOMMEND THIS FUNERAL SERVICE.
For your information, prior to choosing South Coast Funeral Services we went to George Scott Funeral Services and they gave us misleading information so we declined their services and then they proceeded to bill us £700 for a day use of their chapel!!! My father had to beg them to lower the bill to £350.
LUCKILY WE MADE THE BEST DECISION TO CHOOSE SOUTH COAST FUNERAL SERVICES!
