Make the most of The New Forest, our National Park … they are prepping each car park to house the pay machines, to pay to park your cars. As they warned would happen in the spring.

Pat and I were reflecting over the years where it was free to park and picnic in years gone by …
Stonehenge, where you could wander around the stones. Badbury Rings, where you could picnic from your cars close to the rings… now fenced off and pay to park….. to name a couple !!

As the machines are going in the New Forest car parks, we wonder if they will use the money to fill in the pot holes and maybe pay for new signs to drop the speed limits through the New Forest to prevent the ponies from being injured and killed ? I do hope so!

We are so glad we had some lovely family picnics last year where we met up, had fun, played on the grass and ate our shared picnics, respectfully enjoying Mother Earth too. And basically all our lives, with our kids and grandkids when we have enjoyed The Forest.

Hey just a thought … does that mean that the money collecting companies are p1mp1ng out Our Mother Earth ??
