Its colic awareness month👶

Its so hard on new babies and parents as they begin the journey into the world.

Hopefully I can help provide some tips

🥰 What worked for you?

I have been very lucky with all my three.

Although I do remember one night my first baby cried and cried. I changed her, I sang to her and cuddled her I tried nursing her but she cried and cried.

As a new mum I had no idea what to do. So I bundled us up all warm and went for a walk, I remember it was dark but we were using the baby carrier.

It didn't work, still poor baby cried. I got home and called my brother who is a paediatric nurse, and he said try burping her, the one thing I didn't do, which seems utterly ridiculous 3 babies in 🤦‍♀️

It worked, phew!

But that has been my only over extended crying experience.

But it breaks my heart to hear a baby cry. For any reason, so my heart goes out to the mums, dads and babies who suffer with colic.
