’m sick of measuring everything.
Calories, steps, hours of sleep… even my car nags me with percentages. Empty or full used to be enough. Now it’s 25%, 60%, 83% — like life has turned into one long progress bar.
And honestly? I don’t want to think about being “90% through my lifespan” or rationing myself to 1200 calories a day. The weight of all this counting is exhausting. It’s like culture has trained us to track every breath until we can’t breathe anymore.
Meanwhile, so many parents are counting the hours until they see their kids again. So many people are counting the days until they feel okay. And all this mental maths never stops. No wonder people feel lonely and isolated — we’re too busy calculating our existence instead of living it.
We’re not meant to be walking spreadsheets.
We’re humans. Messy, warm, funny, tired, hopeful humans.
Maybe it’s time to step out of the house, stop counting for a minute, and just be with people. Smile. Chat. Exist without measuring it.
Because life isn’t a percentage.
And we’re not calculators with legs.

I used to watch the speakers and Steven Bartlett bringing in so many inventions to give us all supreme health but it's all bull.....
