I'm still smiling after an unforgettable Easter break 🙌

For my birthday, I was lucky enough to be treated to a tour of St Mary's Stadium by my wonderful wife and her family - and honestly, it was nothing short of inspiring.

Walking through the tunnel, seeing behind the scenes, and soaking up the atmosphere where so many special moments happen really keep the fire going in me...
Days like that remind you exactly why you love the game.

Grateful for the experience, the memories, and the motivation it’s given me going forward ⚽

Found this little bee struggling 2 days ago, tired (presumably) cold and unable to fly - she had no energy! 🐝

After a little warmth, some shelter, and a tiny bit of sugar water, she’s regained her strength and is ready to head back out into the world. 🌼

It’s amazing how something so small can play such a huge role in our ecosystem.
Pollinators like bees are responsible for so much of the food and plant life around us.

If you ever see a tired bee, sometimes all they need is a safe (sheltered) place to rest and a small drop of sugar water to help them recover.

Today is the day that I've got to let her go… 🐝

For Footballers, this small seasonal shift can have a surprisingly big impact 👇

⚙️ Body clock reset: Our internal rhythm might take a few days to adjust, so take it easy on early sessions until your sleep pattern stabilises.

💤 Sleep quality: Use the extra hour wisely!
Prioritise recovery sleep to sharpen focus, reaction speed, and decision-making on the pitch.

🌅 Earlier darkness: Evening sessions now mean playing under the lights - stay sharp with good hydration and concentration.

🥗 Fuel timing: Keep your meal times consistent even though the clock’s shifted.

Footwork you can take anywhere 👣⚡️

Here are 3x exercises that you can do pretty much anywhere! with an agility ladder... 🪜

🦵 Lateral High Knees
Step side-to-side through the ladder raising your knees high and staying light on your feet.
Focus: Improves coordination, rhythm, and hip mobility.

🔀 Icky Shuffle
Move in and out diagonally: two feet in, one out - switching sides each time you progress through the ladder.
Focus: Sharpens directional change and reaction speed.

🦘 In & Out Hops
Start with feet outside the first square, hop both feet in, then out into the next space, keeping a smooth rhythm throughout.
Focus: Explosive footwork and balance - perfect anywhere from gym floor to garden

🎯 3 sets x 30 seconds each - short, sharp, effective.
