Today Iām wearing green (my way) š
And honestly, Mental Health Awareness Week feels personal this year, because mental health has been a big part of my story.
I was diagnosed with Level 1 Autism and ADHD in April last year. Before that, a long stretch of burnout, a difficult period that forced me to stop, and a history with anorexia that started when I was 15.
I know what it feels like when your brain and your body are not on the same side.
And thatās partly why massage means so much to me, not just as a therapist, but as someone who gets on the table too.
Because when everything feels like too much, having that space to stop, breathe, and just exist in your body for an hour? It changes things.
Not overnight... but it adds up.
Itās why I believe so strongly that massage therapy isnāt a luxury.
Itās healthcare. For the body AND the brain.
Today is also Wear It Green Day in support of the Mental Health Foundation - swipe to see their graphic and find out more.
