Imagine a family tree with roots that run deep—connecting you to your grandparents, parents, and beyond.

These roots carry not only genetic traits but also patterns of behavior, thoughts, and beliefs.

Sometimes, these patterns can be like invisible chains, holding us back. But fear not! We have the power to break free.

To break generational patterns, we must first recognize them. Are there recurring themes in your family’s history?

Maybe it’s a tendency to avoid risk or a fear of expressing emotions. Awareness is the key.

Once you see the pattern, you can choose to step off that well-worn path.

Limiting Beliefs

1. The Inner Narrator
Inside our minds, there’s a narrator—a voice that whispers stories. Sometimes, this voice tells us we’re not good enough, smart enough, or deserving. These are limiting beliefs. They hold us captive, like a bird in a cage.

2. Rewriting the Script
To break free, we must rewrite the script. Challenge those limiting beliefs! When the voice says, “You can’t,” reply with, “Why not?” Replace “I’m not worthy” with “I am enough.” It’s like editing a story—changing the ending to one of empowerment.

Steps to Liberation

Awareness: Notice the patterns and beliefs. Shine a light on them. Ask, “Is this serving me?”

Questioning: Challenge the status quo. Ask, “Is this true?” Often, you’ll find it’s not.

Choice: You hold the pen. Write your own story. Choose beliefs that lift you higher.

Compassion: Be gentle with yourself. Breaking free takes time. Celebrate small victories.

Remember, you’re the author of your life. đŸ“–đŸ’«

Are you struggling to find time for the gym? No worries!

Incidental exercise is here to save your day and your health.

It’s all about sneaking in movement throughout your day, without needing a dedicated workout session.

Here’s how you can get started:

đŸ’« Stair Mastering: Skip the elevator and take the stairs. Every step counts towards stronger legs and a healthier heart!

đŸ’« Walk and Talk: Have phone calls to make? Pace around while you talk – it’s a simple way to get those steps in.

đŸ’« Dance Breaks: Groove to your favorite tunes while cooking or cleaning. Dancing is a full-body workout that’s also a blast!

đŸ’« Park Further Away: Choose parking spots a little farther from your destination for extra walking time.

đŸ’« Deskercise: Try calf raises, seated leg lifts, or even desk push-ups during those long hours at work.

đŸ’« Active Commuting: If possible, bike or walk to work. If you take public transport, get off a stop early and walk the rest of the way.

đŸ’« TV Time Toning: Watching your favorite show? Do some squats, lunges, or yoga poses during commercials.

đŸ’« Playtime Power: If you have kids or pets, join in their playtime – it’s fun and gets you moving!

Every move counts towards a happier, healthier you. So, what’s your move today?

Share your moments and let’s inspire each other!

“The wounded child inside many males is a boy who, when he first spoke his truths, was silenced by paternal sa**sm, by a patriarchal world that did not want him to claim his true feelings. The wounded child inside many females is a girl who was taught from early childhood that she must become something other than herself, deny her true feelings, in order to attract and please others.”

In our bustling world, where deadlines, responsibilities, and high-pressure environments consume our days, we often forget to pause and recalibrate.

Retreats offer a powerful antidote—a deliberate step back from the chaos, allowing us to reset, recharge, and realign. Here’s why retreats are essential:

1. Strategic Realignment:
Retreats provide the space to step away from the daily grind and gain perspective. Like recalibrating a compass, they help us reorient our goals, strategies, and priorities. Whether you’re a CEO, entrepreneur, or creative soul, a strategic reset during a retreat can spark fresh ideas and innovative solutions.

2. Mindful Reflection:
In the quietude of a retreat, we reflect on our journey—the wins, the setbacks, and the lessons learned. This introspection fuels growth. By analyzing what went wrong and why, we make informed decisions that pave the way for better outcomes in the future. Retreats foster a growth mindset, turning challenges into stepping stones1.

3. Rejuvenation and Well-Being:
Retreats are like soul spa days. They allow us to unplug, slow down, and reconnect with nature. Amidst lush landscapes or serene lagoons, we find solace. Our minds declutter, stress dissipates, and we emerge stronger, mentally and emotionally. It’s a chance to prioritize self-care and inner peace.

4. The Rising Epidemic of Burnout:
Despite corporate well-being programs and mindfulness apps, stress and burnout persist. Retreats offer a reset button. They remind us that sustainable success isn’t about relentless hustle; it’s about balance. CEOs and founders, take note: ‘ME’ time is as crucial as profitability. Retreats are not escapes; they’re vital ingredients for thriving lives.

This is Alex, we’ve been working on his movement patterns over the last couple of years & helping him become fitter, more functional & resolve a number of nagging pain issues.

Alex initially came to FC with a shoulder problem which we resolved through manual therapy.

We then progressed to get him moving more efficiently in the lower back & hips as the old movement patterns were leading him towards a path of pain & discomfort as well as resolve legacy wrist issues after a finger tendon was removed in an operation.

“It’s unbelievable how different I feel, I’ve got a lot more sensation & am feeling my movement completely differently.” - Alex

I used to plan everything down to the last detail, trying to make sure nothing went wrong.

But I’ve learned that you can’t predict everything. Holding on to old plans can stop the good stuff from flowing into your life.

Letting go is like lifting an anchor. It frees us from what’s holding us back so we can move forward.

Accepting things as they are is the first step. It doesn’t mean we can’t change them, but we need to see them clearly first.

When we let go of our need to control, we open ourselves up to endless possibilities.

We’re not in charge of everything around us. We’re only responsible for our choices and actions.

Let things happen naturally, without trying to force them.

Buddha said happiness comes from letting go of our ties to the world.

Trying to control everything is about fear—fear of not getting what we want. But that stops us from seeing all the other great things that could happen.

It takes a lot of energy to try to control everything, and it keeps us from living in the moment.

We shouldn’t base our future on what happened in the past. We’ve grown since then, and we need to see the bigger picture.

Don’t force things. Let them happen, trusting that it’s for the best. And don’t compare yourself to others.

It’s not helpful and can make you feel bad. Be true to yourself and focus on your own growth.

We all make excuses or blame others sometimes, but we need to let that go to let the magic happen.

Take responsibility for your actions, and let life’s flow take you where you’re meant to go.

What about you? Have you ever held on to a plan or idea for too long? How did you learn to let go and trust the flow of life?

🌟 Turning pain into power 🌟

Lean In: When life throws a curveball, don’t dodge it. Catch it, examine its stitches, and learn from its spin. 🏏

Feel It Fully: Pain isn’t a hot potato. Hold it. Feel its texture. It’s okay to cry, scream, or scribble in your journal. 📝😱

Alchemy of Perspective: Imagine pain as a sculptor’s chisel. Carve new angles. What can you learn? How can you grow? 🗿

Healing Brew: Mix equal parts self-compassion and gratitude. Sip slowly. Let it mend your soul. ☕💕

Scars as Badges: Those battle scars? They’re not flaws; they’re proof of resilience. Wear them like medals. đŸŽ–ïž

Remember, you’re not shattered; you’re mosaic.

Each piece adds depth, beauty, and strength. 🌈đŸ’Ș

🌾 Celebrating the Wisdom from Women 🌾

As I reflect on the impactful lessons life has taught me through the incredible women who've graced my journey, here are seven pearls of wisdom that shimmer brightly:

đŸŒ· Resilience Beyond Endurance: Women embody a resilience that's not just enduring difficulties but dancing with them, turning trials into beautiful, transformative choreography.

đŸŒ· Vulnerability as a Sacred Space: The power of vulnerability isn't just about openness; it's a sacred space where emotions are honored, shared, and transmuted into strength.

đŸŒ· Intuition as Cosmic Wisdom: Women's intuition isn't just a gut feeling; it's a connection to cosmic wisdom, a channel that guides with celestial insight beyond the visible horizon.

đŸŒ· Unconditional Love as Alchemy: Love isn't just nurturing; it's alchemical. Women demonstrate that love, when unconditional, has the power to transmute pain into healing and wounds into wisdom.

đŸŒ· Multitasking as Divine Symphony: Juggling isn't merely about managing tasks; it's orchestrating a divine symphony where every note, every role, contributes to the harmonious melody of life.

đŸŒ· Silence as a Source of Creation: Silence isn't just an absence of noise; it's a profound source of creation. Women teach that in the stillness lies the potential for endless possibilities.

đŸŒ· Change as a Cosmic Dance: Change isn't just adaptation; it's a cosmic dance. Women fearlessly waltz with the rhythm of change, knowing that transformation is the heartbeat of evolution.

Here's to the extraordinary women who've unraveled these deeper dimensions, enriching our lives with their wisdom.

Happy International Women's Day! 💖

Living with these beautiful creatures has opened my heart in so many unexpected ways! đŸ¶đŸ„°đŸ¶

Animals are a true medicine & can teach us so so much!

Things i’ve learned from being with the doggos;

1. There’s a time for lots of action & a time for lots of rest!
2. Love is a boomerang
3. Belly & face rubs are king
4. Be aware! If your doggo vigilance strays for too long then your prized possessions get destroyed
5. Animals operate at a VERY high frequency & love to help us with ours đŸ’«

So grateful for my canine companions, going to be a heart break when I move! 😭💔

But still going to visit 😆
