My SMP Journey

I stared losing my hair at 25.
My dad and grandad were bald so I knew it was going to happen, but was hoping It wouldn’t.
I didn’t want to admit defeat so I tried to keep it for as long as possible but it started to look a bit silly. It was thick around the sides and thinning on top.
So at the age of 25/26 I gave up and started shaving it all the time.
I still didn’t like having the ring around the back of my head and It made me feel old before my time. I was very insecure about my looks.

I had looked into hair transplants but I wasn’t sure if it would even work so I left it.
One of my close friends had the same problem but he went down the line of wearing a hair system. This was never an option that I wanted to explore as there was nothing permanent about it. Just glued on and a lot of maintenance.

Fast forward to when I was 36, I was scrolling through Facebook and came across a video about SMP.
I didn’t even know this sort of thing existed.
My First thought was would it look weird having a tattoo on my head?
However the more and more info and videos I saw the more I started to think this could be for me.
I found a company online and after all my questions were answered I got booked in. I was very nervous as you can imagine but I was so glad i went with it.
It completely changed the way I felt about myself.
I’ve now had this for 5 years and still over the moon with how it looks. Wish I had seen it sooner to be honest.

This is now something I am offering for people with the same male pattern baldness that I had.

My first client was the close friend that used to wear a hair system. He looks 20 years younger now and he is very happy with the results.
