Ori is pleased to welcome Dr. Shveta Gupta, MD, MBA, CPDHTS, CDH-E, CPHQ, as US Oncology and Digital Health Board Advisor!

Dr. Gupta is a physician executive with over 15 years experience, spanning clinical medicine, oncology operations, and healthcare strategy.

Shveta brings expertise in US market access, regulatory navigation, and digital health product positioning. Dr. Gupta serves as the 2026 President of the Central Florida Association for Physicians of Indian Origin (CAPI). She is the founder of Vedaic, a platform that trains physicians to build health-tech opinion leadership.

Her advisory role will focus on:

- US go-to-market strategy and market-entry sequencing
- Product positioning for the US oncology and survivorship ecosystem
- Stakeholder engagement with cancer centers, payers, and employer benefits channels
- Regulatory and reimbursement pathway guidance

The US has 18.6 million cancer survivors today, and most never receive structured rehabilitation support. The CHALLENGE trial (NEJM, June 2025) demonstrated structured exercise reduces risk of cancer recurrence by 28% and risk of death by 37%. The evidence base for exercise-led cancer recovery has never been stronger.

Dr. Gupta's advisory scope includes regulatory and reimbursement pathway navigation, cancer survivorship population analysis, and strategic positioning for payer, employer, and oncology practice channels. She brings direct experience working at the intersection of clinical evidence, digital product development, AI in healthcare, and value-based care delivery.

Prior to advisory work, Dr. Gupta built her career across clinical operations, quality improvement, and healthcare strategy in large health systems. She holds board certifications and credentials in digital health transformation strategy (CPDHTS), digital health executive leadership (CDH-E), and healthcare quality (CPHQ).

Dr. Gupta's guidance will be central to bringing Ori's clinically grounded, exercise-led recovery support to the US market.

Welcome to the team, Shveta!

LET’S TALK PREHAB

Most people haven’t heard or even thought of prehab (prehabilitation).

We’ve heard of rehab - support after illness or treatment.

But prehab?

Prehab means preparing your body and mind before treatment begins, so you go into treatment stronger and recover better afterwards.

Research shows that when people improve their strength, fitness, nutrition, and emotional wellbeing before treatment, they often recover faster and cope better during treatment.

At Ori we believe recovery doesn’t start after treatment. It starts before it, to make you stronger in preparation for your treatment.

We at Ori want to support you all the way, and that support starts now with prehab. This is the best time to start your Ori journey, we will be with you every step of the way.

Join us and let us support you as you prepare for treatment.

On Young Carers Action Day, we at Ori want to applaud and offer our support to all carers who give so much of themselves every day. Caring doesn’t belong to only one age group. It spans childhood, adulthood, and later life. Each stage brings its own pressures and strengths.

At Ori we recognise that supporting a loved one through cancer is one of the hardest journeys to travel. We want to offer our support to you both, as you prepare for treatment, undergo treatment and recover from treatment.

We’re inviting cancer patients to join our user testing community. Their insight helps us design tools that truly meet the needs of those navigating treatment, recovery, and daily life.

If you’re a cancer patient and would like to contribute your experience, sign up to take part: https://orirehab.co.uk/join-early-testing

💜 Today we celebrate International Women’s Day at Ori Rehab Limited. 💜

Today we recognise the women who shape Ori, our community, and the future of rehabilitation. From clinicians and carers to patients and partners, women’s voices guide the way we design, test, and improve.

At Ori Rehab, user testing isn’t just a checkbox, it’s a commitment. Women’s lived experiences help us refine Ori and build rehabilitation pathways that are more inclusive, accessible, and impactful for everyone.

To every woman who has shared feedback, tested our services, or trusted us with their recovery journey, thank you. Your insight drives meaningful change.

Want to join our current user testing group?

It's free to participate and has full use of the Ori Rehab programme as user testers. All we ask is your commitment to test, for as long as you are comfortable participating. We value your feedback and input to help us shape Ori.

Over the past year, Ori Rehab Limited has had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships across the prostate cancer support community.

We have had valuable conversations with PCUK Paul Dennington, a volunteer at PCUK and dedicated prostate cancer fundraiser and Joseph Woollcott, a Director at Prostate Cancer UK.

Each brings important insight from different perspectives within the sector. What has been most striking, is the shared commitment across organisations and individuals to improve support for people living with and beyond prostate cancer.

Meaningful collaboration and strong relationships are critical if we are to address existing gaps in support, particularly around life after treatment. This collective approach, working in unison with a common purpose, is what will drive meaningful change for patients.

Over the past year, Ori Rehab has had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships across the breast cancer support community.

We work closely with the Prehabilitation team at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, whose expertise and commitment to supporting people before, during, and after treatment has been invaluable.

We have some exciting new relationships building as we speak too! What has been consistently clear throughout these conversations, is a shared understanding that breast cancer recovery extends far beyond treatment alone. Long-term physical recovery, confidence, and quality of life require better-connected, more collaborative support.

Meaningful relationships and genuine collaboration are critical, if we are to address the gaps that exist for people living with and beyond breast cancer.

Working in unison, with a common purpose, is what enables real and lasting impact for patients.

World Cancer Day

'Today, the world comes together. For so many people, cancer isn’t a single day. It’s every day. Every day of recovery, every day of uncertainty, every day fearing the 'what if?'.

Today reminds us to unite, to come together.

The rest of the year reminds us why we must keep showing up.

To everyone living with cancer, beyond cancer, and alongside it. I see you. I’ve got you.

The Ori Team also has you.

The foundations of Ori are built on love, empathy, understanding, and knowledge.

My passion and commitment to support you all, is what drives me. The more people Ori can reach to offer support, the more I will fill accomplished in my mission.'

We at Ori Rehab are delighted to have Prostate Cancer UK supporting us in creating a product that is looking to reach and help men with prostate cancer.

With the support of PCUK, we’re inviting men affected by prostate cancer to help shape the development of Ori by taking part in early user testing.

Those who have lived experience, will make Ori the best tool to assist people in their rehabilitation. By getting insights from those with lived experience it will be designed with valuable feedback from those who use and benefit from it.

Sign up for user testing via the website: https://orirehab.co.uk/
