✨Strengthen your Mindset ✨

1. Use positive words when talking in general and about yourself

2. Practice positive affirmations:
Repeat positive phrases to yourself on a regular basis.

3. Give yourself credit:
Allow yourself to feel confident about your success. Concentrate on the positives not the negatives

4. Forgive yourself:
It’s easy to beat yourself up about things that went wrong. Treat yourself with kindness and forgiveness and allow yourself to move forward.

5. Learn from the past:
Leave the past behind you, no matter how bad things may have been unfortunately you can’t change them. As soon as you get negative thoughts about the past replace them with positive ones about the future.

✨ NEW YEAR ✨

A new year doesn’t mean that it needs to be a new you. I know that it very common for people to set loads of new goals for their idea of a NEW ME.

You don’t need to do this. Keep the same you that has been their through all of the tough times and all of the best times in your life. Set yourself a new goal for the year that is realistic and enjoyable.

January is sometimes used as punishment after the holiday period, people trying to change their body as quick as possible.

Use January to explore new hobbies, start the gym (but don’t push yourself in the deep end and burn out), make more memories, heal parts of you that you may have been putting off.

Don’t change who you are just because it’s a new year.Just try and become slightly better than you did last year.

✨My ghosts of Christmas past✨

I was strolling through my camera roll and came across these 4 significant pictures to me.

Each year has a different stage of my life and my disorderly eating and eating disorder.

It’s hard to look back on all of these pictures and see how I was struggling and trying make myself into this unrealistic version of perfection.

2019 was the start of my eating disorder, I was eating 2 meals a day and purging alongside of running 8km to 10km a day.

2020 was me trying to figure out food but was still heavily in a binge restrict cycle. I was massively uncomfortable in my skin.

2021 was the year I fell in love with the gym. I got myself a coach and she was so supportive and pushed me within my sessions. However I did still have massive binge periods as-well as binge purge episodes. I was training only for aesthetics not to actually see the mental benefits.

2022 has been a year of self discovery. I have learned a lot about myself and my body and I still learn something new every day. I have been working on not punishing my body just because I might get a negative thought. Instead I think of how much my body does for me and how strong I am.

If any of this resonates with you just remember that you are not alone ❤️

✨ The Festive season ✨

Here are some tips and tricksto help you through the festive period.

🎄The all or nothing approach -
Don’t just go f**k it it’s Christmas. If you have struggled in the past with just letting go and not training, over indulging in food and drink, this year take control. Set yourself some healthy boundaries that will allow you to have the flexibility to do it all.

🎄Be kind to yourself- it’s a busy time of the year and it might be a lot harder to get all your training sessions done. It might be harder sticking to your goals. But don’t be too harsh on yourself. This is the time of year to spend time with loved ones and make memories. Just make sure you are doing the things you love alongside of it all.

🎄Don’t restrict yourself- have all the yummy foods and drinks just be aware of what you are doing and stop when you want to not when everyone else is.

🎄Stand your ground - if you want to train all through Christmas and you want to track your calories or stick to a diet plan do it! If you want to take a step back, move your body but still have the freedom to enjoy food and not be as strict do it. Don’t listen to anyone else but you!

🎄Make memories

✨ Start your new year resolution early ✨

Why wait for January?

I know that this is a busy period for most people. From work x-mas party’s and meals to seeing friends and family.

Just remember not to neglect your health.
Go and enjoy the festivities! Just remember to not give up on what you love to do just because of this time of the year.

If you are wanting to start new goals, slowly introduce new habits over December so you can go into the new year with them embedded into your routine.

If you are wanting to start the gym as a New Year’s resolution do it now. You will miss the rush of all the newbies and it will be easier to stick to your new goal.

If you need a helping hand please please drop me a message or visit the link in my bio ❤️

✨ Take charge of your own life✨

It’s time to be honest with you all.
Recently life has been a roller coaster emotionally and physically.

I fell out of love with myself, the gym and everything in general. I became a person I didn’t even recognise. I had no enthusiasm towards my job, my relationships and life.

My eating habits were all over the place and I wasn’t fuelling my body correctly which showed in my moods and appearance. I was binge eating everyday until the point that I had to be sick. I would tell myself that was the last time over and over again but nothing changed.

This is when I new I needed to get help.

I have been put on antidepressants and I am in the process of starting counselling with a eating disorder clinic.

The support I have had from family, friends and boyfriend has been amazing and I wouldn’t have been able to get through any of this.

I want to be transparent with you all and show you that everyone struggles.

You have to remember that you are in charge, and that there is always help just around the corner.

If you are reading this and you are struggling with anything please DM me for a chat ❤️

✨weekly dump ✨

This week has been a roller coaster. I have to completely be honest I haven’t trained properly for the last 2 months.

My eating habits are at its worst as-well as my mental and physical health

I have had a lot of time to reflect and make my goals match the lifestyle that I want to lead.

So this is me saying it’s ok to fall but you need to find away to pick yourself back up. You may need help but it’s ok to ask for it.

Don’t stay quiet, ask for help.

✨ Life is full of surprises ✨

You may not be where you expected to be right now. You may not feel the way you want to feel right now.

Guess what, that’s completely ok!
Life isn’t supposed to be like a straight line.
It has curves, it has hill to climb and it has slopes to slip on.

If it was straight forward we would have everything we wanted without the hard work.

Hard work gets you to where you want to be. Hard work makes you stronger. Hard work makes you the person you are today.

Sometimes we may feel s**t, this could be mentally and physically. But it’s up to you to change the way you feel.

You can sit there and feel sorry for yourself or you can get up and make a difference.
