Today we had a surprise inspection from Food Standards Agency and Bradford Council assessors who inspected our kitchen and store rooms; food preparation and food hygiene practices. I am very happy to report that we have maintained our 5 out of 5 Scores on the Doors, with no further action needed. So a massive thank you to the chefs Florin and Jo and our kitchen assistants Paula, Kim and Liz.

A few pictures from our summer fair today. Thank you for your support, as always.

Thank you also to Elaine and Jane for organising it and to the relatives and staff who helped run the stalls.

Thank you to the staff on shift who helped ensure the residents were able to come out and enjoy it and to our kitchen staff for organising the catering.

We have raised an incredible £549.50 today and have to add the raffle money to this total. The raffle will be drawn on Wednesday.

On our last day of Holiday at Home, our residents (and staff) enjoyed a beach themed photo shoot. They had proper fish and chip for lunch. Flash the Shetland pony visited in the afternoon.
