I am in agreement with this, because
Aesthetics isn’t just a trend - it’s medicine.

Injectables should be approached using a medical model. They’re not beauty treatments, they’re medical treatments.
That means:

✅ Proper assessment
✅ Strong clinical governance
✅ Clear accountability
✅ Aftercare

A national licensing scheme is coming. Higher-risk treatments will require real qualifications and clinical responsibility.
It’s not perfect but if it happens on the ground, it’s a step in the right direction.

🎓 Back to uni today… 22 years after I first started nursing (2004!)

When I trained back then, “online learning” wasn’t really a thing - I was lugging around dusty library books and photocopied handouts like it was 2004 📚😅

Now I’m heading back to university to deepen my knowledge and support the next chapter of my aesthetics nurse journey - so I can streamline your care, prescribe where appropriate, and manage your treatment plans more autonomously and safely.

It’s a big commitment (6+ months of lectures, deadlines and brain-ache), but I truly believe the best practitioners never stop learning.

Don’t worry - Finesse Clinic isn’t going anywhere.

I’ll still be here, just with a slightly more academic (stressed?!) glow 😉
