At RISE we are looking for our very first Business Development Officer to join the team!
This is a truly unique opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a business from its inception and help shape, nurture and grow it into an industry leading company.
As a Business Development Officer, your core mission will be to cultivate relationships and expand Rise's presence within Essex. This role requires a proactive approach, predominantly through in-person 'cold calling' strategies. E.g. going to care homes, community centres, children centres etc and introducing yourself and the company with the view to booking in a ‘taster’ session.
You will be expected to spend approximately 70% of your time on the road, personally introducing Rise to potential clients from our extensive list of contacts. The remaining 30% will be at our Braintree headquarters.

The key to being a successful Business Development Officer is:
* Proficiency in in-person presentations, with the goal of scheduling introductory sessions.
* Willingness to travel extensively across Essex.
* A positive and enthusiastic demeanor when promoting the advantages of our services to prospective clients
Perks and Benefits of the Business Development Officer role
* Basic salary of £24,000
* Commission and bonuses based on volume of sessions booked and customer retention. (Expected commission up to 5-10k if targets met)
