✨️A sun‑soaked hello from Ko Samet, Thailand ✨️

It’s been a little while since my last ‘day in the life’ from the car — life called for a much‑needed pause after a very full and emotional few years.

🩷 These past few weeks have been about resting, breathing and giving myself the space I haven’t had in a long time 🩷

✨️I’m back in North Yorkshire at the end of March, ready to build relationships with local funeral directors and support families with the care, presence and heart they deserve ✨️

🩷 For now, it’s me, the waves and a quiet moment of gratitude for the work I get to return to 🩷

✨ An unexpected review that completely caught me off guard ✨️

🩷 It popped up on Google from a lovely family I supported back in the summer 🩷

✨️ Their words brought all the memories flooding back… their aunt’s brilliant personality, the laughter we shared as we pieced together her story and that feeling of knowing the service really captured her ✨️

🩷 It means the world when families take the time, weeks or even months later, to share something like this 🩷

✨️ Lost for words! ✨️

🩷 If you know me, you'll know I'm rarely lost for words, but this Google review stopped me in my tracks! 🩷

🩷 I'm so incredibly grateful 🩷

✨️ I can not emphasise enough what a difference Kim made, to myself, my family and my friends at a very difficult time.
From our first meeting to discuss the arrangements for my Mums funeral, I felt like I had know her for years.
She made me feel, calm, relax and most importantly heard. Once she had left, she got straight to work arranging all aspects of the service including dropping off photos and music arrangements.
She went above and beyond, working along with the funeral directors to make sure we had all my Mums final wishes were carried out. and then continued to guide and support us once we had reached the Crematorium, all through the service which she gave beautifully and considerately, to when the service and formal arrangements were over, to when she joined us at the wake, where she was still the most approachable friendly person you could hope to meet, especially at this sort of time.
All those who met her, 24 hours later are still saying how brilliant she is.

I could not recommend Kim enough if you find yourself in the difficult position of having to arrange a loved ones funeral.

🩷 Today’s service was for a wonderful lady who just radiated fun and warmth — she loved fancy dress, line dancing and being surrounded by her family and friends 🩷

✨️ It really reminded me how important it is to celebrate the joy people bring into the world ✨️

🩷 Funerals aren’t only about saying goodbye — they’re about saying ‘wasn’t she brilliant’ and keeping those stories and smiles alive 🩷

🥳 I’ve completed my NOCN Level 3 in Civil Celebrancy – an additional qualification to build on my professional training and all the incredible experience I’ve gained so far 🥳

🧡 For me it’s all about growing, learning and being the best Celebrant I can be 🧡

✨️ Feeling proud (and a little bit chuffed!) to have this under my belt 🥳

🧡 Every family, every story, every goodbye is different. 🧡

✨️Today reminded me that even when relationships have been complicated, love still finds a way of showing itself ✨️
✨️It might not always look like the traditional version of love, but it’s there — sometimes in the memories, sometimes in the music, sometimes in the way someone’s story is told ✨️

🧡 What really matters is honouring that person truthfully, while still wrapping it all in care and compassion 🧡

✨️That’s the beauty of a celebrant-led service — it can hold both honesty and love at the same time ✨️
