After seeing how Reiki improved my own health and wellbeing I became intrigued to learn more about this fantastic energy treatment. This resulted in 2 years of training including working as a volunteer at a local cancer centre before setting up my own treatment room. Whilst I continue to practice Reiki my interest and passion for holistic treatments and natural skincare grew, leading me to train specifically in holistic facials. After much training, I am now one of the few Dr Hauschka Estheticians in the country. It’s all about the add in remember!

Every mealtime is an opportunity to nourish your body & skin, turn a simple quick cottage cheese and cracker into something much more.

Why not add some kimchi, sprouted seeds and a squeeze of fresh lemon and voila there you have it a gut and skin supporting plate right there!

At the start of my early 40’s around 8 years ago my body was presenting with high levels of inflammation, I was puffy, experienced rashes, bloated, the root cause?

Stress, over active nervous system, lifestyle, fight or flight mode was turned on constantly!

Inflammation will show up in the skin, it’s the bodies largest organ and we don’t recognise the messages it’s constantly giving us.

Your environment, hormones, lifestyle choices, sleep, diet, stress levels all play a huge role in what you see in the mirror and what you feel in your body.

My consultations don’t get to skincare routines till the very end when I’ve got a picture of how you are actually feeling, what’s happening with you at the that time and what messages is your body telling you.

Rich in skin protective vitamins, antioxidants and minerals your skin will thank you for this treat, there’s 2 large sweet potatoes in this recipe plus the addition of the pecans which are also rich in vitamins A and E, zinc and omegas!

or similar and place back into freezer.

You now have on hand these powerhouse skin nutrients to have when you feel like them.

If you don’t already include these in your diet I’d really recommend trying them, I like to add to salads or to my yoghurt bowl in the mornings.

These colourful Pomegranate seeds are excellent for skin health because they’re rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and healthy fats that support skin from the inside out.

Including them daily may help protect skin from UV damage, pollution, and premature aging, they can also stimulate collagen and elastin production improving firmness and skin texture.

They can also be beneficial for inflammatory skin conditions such as rosacea and acne by calming redness.

Remember there aren’t any quick fixes when it comes to skin health, to achieve results you need to demonstrate consistency and commitment. By focusing on strengthening and supporting the skin, you will allow the skins natural rejuvenation processes to take place. Regular monthly treatments which support the skins microbiome and cellular health with precise targeted skincare is key.
