There are so many amazing positives to ADHD!

We often find ourselves focusing on the tricky bits in order to gain help and support, but we are flipping this one on it's head and we are celebrating the positives today (and most days!).

🌈🌈🌈 LOOK AT ALL THESE POSITIVES! 🌈🌈🌈

***What could you add? ***

We are going to be learning more about ADHD (the tricky and the positive) in our webinar in a few weeks... You're welcome to join us.

If you ever wanted to see my kids stop listening, all you would have to do is ask them to look in your eyes while you talk.

Making eye contact is not listening behaviour for everyone.
If I’m making eye contact with you, you should wonder if I’m hearing anything that you’re saying.

The point? Don’t ask our kids for eye contact. It does not always indicate listening. Especially don’t get down to their level and get up in their face. That only scares them.

Listening can look plenty of different ways.
Eye contact is not required.

Yes?

Absolute charming young person today. At the end of every session I ask them if they have any questions about the session...
Today's question: "are you always this fun?" β˜ΊοΈπŸ€— such a lovely assessment that really cheered me up after feeling so low recently ❀️
