Cultivating a conscious connection with our breath as we practice brings clarity, focus and calm that can brought into our lives off the mat. Mondays:

mins)
Level 2 - 7.30pm (75 mins)

Wednesdays:

Level 1-2 - 7.30pm (75 mins) cancelled temporarily

Saturdays:
Level 3 - 9.30am (75 mins)

Level 1 will take you through the basic principles of a safe asana practice to ensure you have strong foundations from which to continue your yoga journey. Emphasis is on alignment and developing mind body connection. Classes cover standing postures, forward bending, back bending, inversions, basic sequencing, pranayama, bandhas, and mantra. Level 1 - 2 starts to link postures together in simple sequences. Postures can be adapted to suit different levels and abilities. Level 2 brings together asana, mantra, pranayama in flowing sequences. These classes are more challenging and dynamic, and are typically set to music. Level 3 incorporates yogic teachings into the practice. Sequences are designed as a strong dynamic flow and to be more challenging. Naomi Baird has practiced yoga for 15 years, taking her first class on the banks of a holy lake in India. She has completed two 200hr teacher trainings. One in hatha yoga at the Jungle Yoga Ashram in Thailand with Randal O'Learly and the second more recent in vinyasa flow at Sangyé Yoga School in London with Cat Alip-Douglas. Tish Vail first began yoga to help recover from a knee injury almost 10 years ago. Tish found that whilst the practice started on her mat, it can be integrated into all aspects of life. “Yoga has changed my perspective on how to live, if I’m in any doubt there is always a teaching I can turn to. Yoga is an ancient, tried and tested system of knowledge designed to create happy and healthy relationships – with oneself, with others and our planet.” She completed a 200hr teacher training at Sangyé Yoga School in London with Cat Alip-Douglas.
