Sunday’s group focused on developing foundational strength as part of their long-term athletic progression. Following the initial acceleration phase (Block 1), the session emphasised deceleration techniques, highlighting the importance of effective braking mechanics.

By supporting athletes in managing the increased physical demands associated with slowing down and changing direction, we aim to enhance overall performance while also reducing the risk of injury over the long term.

At Core Motion, we’re committed to building confidence in our youth athletes through strong foundations. We focus on fundamental movements and sound technique—skills that form the base for all future performance.

This is only session 1 of 10, but already they’re one step further ahead than I was as a young person finding my way 🚀

Looking back, many of the injuries I faced as an adult could have been prevented with the right guidance at a young age. That’s why this work matters.

Core Motion – 10-Week Programme (Starting Monday 13th April)
All abilities welcome 🚀
We are pleased to announce the expansion of our Core Motion programme, with increased group sizes for sessions:
• Tuesdays, 7:30–8:30pm (Ages 10–12)
• Sundays, 4:00–5:00pm (Girls only)

We look forward to welcoming new participants to these sessions.

Another awesome day with a great group of young people. Pleased to see lots of new faces being looked after by the more experienced Core Motion crew. S&C - SAQ - circuit training - pickleball - football/handball and a highly competitive game of dodgeball to finish 🚀

Core Motion – Day 1 Holiday Camp 💪

An incredible start to the sessions! The group (ages 8–12) showed fantastic attitude and energy throughout, with participants of all abilities working together and supporting one another.

A real credit to their parents and carers 👏
