Our support workers took one of the young people to Porthcawl for a day full of laughter, movement, and quality time. Getting out and about isn’t just about having fun — it helps build confidence, encourages positive relationships, and supports overall wellbeing.

For the past few months, one of our young people has been volunteering at an animal rescue centre, dedicating her time to caring for animals in need. Her passion and commitment shine through in everything she does, and it’s inspiring to see her making a real difference while doing what she loves! 🐶

Volunteering offers a sense of stability, purpose, and connection—something that can be especially valuable for young people in residential care. Routine, responsibility, and the unconditional love of animals can have such a positive impact. 🌟

A big shoutout to our amazing manager for leading an insightful and engaging workshop on food hygiene and medication safety!

Understanding proper food handling practices and safe medication management is essential—not just for compliance but for protecting the wellbeing of everyone we support. From handwashing techniques to correct storage procedures, the session was packed with valuable tips and reminders. 1.) Why did you choose this company?
With 20 years of experience in both front-line children's services and social care recruitment, being a part of bringing new staff into the sector allows me to utilise my knowledge of what makes a good social care worker and the qualities they need to bring to the role.

2.) What's the best thing about your job?
Finding the correct staff to fit the needs of our young people and to allow new staff members to feel a part of a valued team.

3.) What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
