We are currently experiencing significant and sustained pressure across our hospital sites, with all Emergency Departments affected.
This is being compounded by rising cases of norovirus (diarrhoea and vomiting) in our communities, which is impacting patient flow through the hospital.
If you plan to visit or attend an appointment, please do not come if you have had symptoms within the last 48 hours, or have been caring for someone unwell.
For most people, norovirus can be safely managed at home with hydration and rest.

We are also asking the public to only attend Emergency Departments in a life-threatening emergency, which may include:
• Difficulty breathing
• Suspected heart attack
• Heavy bleeding
• Loss of consciousness
If you are feeling unwell, there are several actions you could take:
Visit the NHS 111 Wales website for advice on your condition and the next steps
Call 111 to access urgent advice and guidance and the Out of Hours service
If you require urgent mental health support, please call 111 and press option 2
Thank you for helping us protect our patients and staff 💙
