Great work being done by Colin who has set up this diabetes social group who are meeting once a month here at the warehouse on the 2nd tuesday of every month at 7pm.

I'm Colin, and I run this little group. I'm excited and proud to say that I'm now officially an affiliated volunteer with Diabetes UK! They are supporting me with this little venture.

For all my fellow T1D’s carrying this quietly, remember you are not alone 🩵
This is the side to Type 1 Diabetes people don’t see and also a side that is so hard to explain to others 😞
People don’t understand the frustrations, the confusion, the worry and the fear that we may experience throughout our journey with T1D 🫶🏼
But even though it can feel lonely in more ways than one, this is why speaking to others and peer support is so incredibly important, something I put a huge emphasis on within my Diabetes coaching programme 🫂
