🏅✨ Let the Games Begin! Grosvenor Park Care Home Stages Its Own Olympics✨🏅

Our residents at Grosvenor Park Care Home in Darlington have been getting active and competitive by organising their very own Care Home Olympics!🎉

This resident-led initiative has been all about team spirit, inventive games, and plenty of fun, bringing together mental stimulation, physical movement, and social bonding in the best way possible. 💪🧠

Riverside View Care Home, The Lawns Care Home, and The Grange will also be taking part in the fun, making this an even bigger celebration of energy, friendship, and community spirit! 🎊

It’s been amazing to see just how much joy, energy, and togetherness this event has created within our home. 💕

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️Superhero Party at Heywood Court Care Home!🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️

We had a fantastic day with our residents, staff, and families! The celebrations kicked off with a delicious BBQ lunch before an afternoon packed with fun. 🎉

There was singing, dancing, face painting, and of course plenty of superhero capes and masks to go around! Everyone looked amazing. Later on, we enjoyed a tasty buffet tea together.🦹‍♂️🦸‍♀️

Our raffle was a huge hit, with some wonderful prizes including a hand-knitted superhero set that made us all smile. The entertainer had everyone singing along, and even a few residents couldn’t resist getting up to dance. 🎶💃🕺

A big shoutout to our fantastic staff who went all out with decorations and organisation, you truly made the day SUPER! 🌟

🎉🎂A Very Special Birthday at Botham Hall!🎂🎉

We had the absolute joy of celebrating Peggy’s 100th Birthday over not just one, but two wonderful days!💐✨

🎶 Day one: our fabulous live singer, Rik, had everyone up dancing and singing along, which made the perfect party atmosphere!
☕🍰 Day two: Peggy enjoyed a lovely Birthday Tea with her family, making the day even more special.

Peggy even received a very exciting birthday card from The King himself! 👑💌

🦸‍♀️☀️ Superhero Summer Party at Elizabeth Fleming Care Home! ☀️🦸‍♂️

We had an incredible day celebrating our Superhero Summer Party! Residents and staff joined forces for an afternoon full of fun, laughter, and plenty of heroic spirit.💥

🍔 Our very own handyman worked the BBQ
🎶 Super tunes, games, and quizzes kept the party going strong
🦸 Everyone looked fantastic in their superhero outfits, capes and masks

A special part of the day was our Superhero Awards, where staff and families nominated heroes in these categories:

👏 Unsung Hero

It was a wonderful way to celebrate the everyday heroes in our home and community. 💕

Our wonderful staff team shows kindness and empathy every single day, ensuring residents feel respected, supported, and loved. We know that dementia affects whole families, not just individuals, which is why we’re here to offer comfort and guidance to loved ones too.

🎉🏆 Double Celebration at Riverside View! 🏆🎉

We’ve got so much to celebrate at Riverside View Care Home after the home was awarded a Good rating from the CQC! This is a fantastic achievement for the home and a huge thank you goes to our amazing staff for their dedication and hard work.

To top off a brilliant week, the home also had an absolute blast with their Superhero Summer Party!

Residents, staff, and families came together in capes and masks for a day full of games and superhero fun, as well as raising funds for Alzheimer's Society.

Here’s to celebrating achievements and the wonderful community that makes Riverside View so special!

Our homes, including Langley Park Care Home and Elm Bank Care Home, have been been showing off an array of capes, masks and plenty of superhero spirit to celebrate our Superhero Summer Party!

Honouring the everyday heroes who make our homes so wonderful, today’s parties have all been about recognising our dedicated care teams and incredible residents.

Today's celebrations have also seen each of our homes raise vital funds for Alzheimer's Society, a cause incredibly close to our hearts.
