**IMPORTANT NOTICE**

The owner was so sure it was Buddy, so they took him this morning and went to the vets. UNFORTUNATELY THIS WAS NOT BUDDY!! 😔
There is no Microchip in this cat to ascertain the owner !!!

I thought all cats had to be chipped??

They will be bringing him back and releasing him in this area, where he knows the territory.

If anyone knows who he may truly belong to, please get in touch with me or Vicky Pudney as he shouldn't be out all night in this freezing weather. Thank you.

Update on the lost tabby cat.

Operation "Rescue Buddy" SUCCESSFUL 🎊 🎊 At last - Took us since Saturday night, alot of lost sleep, damage to John's hand and a huge amount of patience.
See the video below.
He has just been picked up by his Mummy and taken back to Clacton. ❤️ ###
Now its time to sleep!

Unfortunately, even after checking the cat trap at 2am, 4am and 6am - No sign of Buddy - The missing Tabby.
The outside cat bed is back in place. Only time will tell x

So here is an update .....
We borrowed a cat trap but have now shut our fur babies (Bobby and Pebbles) in for the night, so the cat trap is now open with some wet food and biscuits in there. We will check the trap every half an hour before bed and if no luck, we will set an alarm every couple of hours during the night! Good job we are not working tomorrow 😆

Fingers crossed and wish us luck and Buddy's family, be ready to collect in the night if we manage to catch him.
Tbf he's gonna be a bit wary now as he didn't like us trying to get him in the cat carrier xx

Omg Buddy didn't want to be put in the cat carrier !! After the damage done, he ran up the garden and hissed! Poor little sausage, he must be so scared, not knowing how to get home!
We will leave the bed out and check during the evening until late night. IF he returns hopefully he'll get in himself and go to sleep, if we are quiet enough we may be able to close it....... 😔

Has anyone lost a tabby cat? (think he's a boy)
He keeps making himself at home in our cats outside bed in the garden table.
He obviously has a loving home as he's a big boy and seems very healthy and is friendly. Maybe he's wandered too far from home and can't find his way back?

Just hope its not a fatal accident cos that would be so so sad.

Only a few cars up from my cab!! There for the grace of God eh!!!
1 to 2 minutes earlier and it could've been a very different story. XX

We are delighted to confirm that the total amount raised from our Winter Raffle, with all proceeds going to Brightlingsea Winter Fest , is £165.14.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who purchased raffle numbers and supported this cause. Your generosity has enabled this fantastic donation to be made through our small business.

I will be contacting Brightlingsea Winterfest later today to inform them of the total raised and to arrange a suitable date, after the festive period, to formally hand over the donation.
