🔮Last week I shared this little tarot spread for playing with reversals for the first time, as part of my talk for ’ Summer Solstice Summit.

To use it:

1️⃣Intentionally choose a card to represent somewhere you’re stuck, place it face up in the top position.

2️⃣Then, shuffle your deck and draw a card to represent a reframe that can help you move out of that stuckness. Place this card, in its reversed position (whether it comes out of the deck reversed or not).

3️⃣Explore how reversing the flow of energy that the card is normally associated with can offer you fresh insight into your issue.

🎙️ I recently had the opportunity to interview , a seasoned tarot reader and author whose latest novel, The Tarot Reader of Versailles, tells the real-life story of Marie Antoinette’s personal tarot reader, Marie Ann Lenormand.

🔮 Not only does The Tarot Reader of Versailles shine a light on the forgotten history of one of tarot’s greatest heroines, it also offers practical tarot applications — including spreads that guide the action of the novel and instructions on how to read the tarot alongside the characters on the page.

The Tarot Artist’s Way has been a much more liminal experience than I anticipated…

I’m loving the fact that it’s pushing me to engage differently with my creativity…

That even though I’m not seeing as much concrete creative output as I secretly hoped for, I’m gaining a renewed appreciation for slowing down and opening up space, rather than pushing myself through it…
