It’s really important to check in with and unpack our money stories.

Specifically in relation to the notions that money and spirituality don't mix, money is the root of all evil, it is unethical to charge for spiritual work, we should all reject money and others along those lines

I am aware some people give of themselves freely after they have dismantled that programming, but that's not what I'm addressing here
The notion of being 'In Service' is at the foundation of modern day spirituality, especially the New Age Deception. The idea is that we freely give of our time and energy to any who need us with no restrictions, ask nothing in return, be nice to everyone and help everyone you can
Sounds really great on paper. In practice, it's actually a real s**t storm of energetic entanglement and keeping each other in lack and oppression
Boundaries are your single most powerful tool when offering help to others. It's the whole put your own oxygen mask on first thing. It's absolutely imperative for each of us to operate from where feels safe and aligned for ourselves, instead of bending and stretching to make others comfortable/meet their expectations/fix a problem for them etc. Obviously sometimes we go out of our way to help someone. But if this is your day to day, you will burn out as you are not honouring yourself or your boundaries
If you ask to receive nothing, chances are it's because you have an issue with receiving. Majority of us do. It's important to address it and work through it. Ability to receive healthily is a base survival need. Time to address it
Most likely though it's dressed up in judgements about how it is unethical to charge money for spiritual work. I've honestly talked for hours and held Masterclasses and shared multiple posts on this, so I'm not going to go into too much detail here.
From my point of view it's as simple as this (though there are many more valid and important points to this discussion but these are the penultimate for me):
1. As long as we live in a currency based society, I'll need you to pay me in currency because that is the only acceptable way I can pay for rent/bills/purchases etc. If we move to a new system y'all will not hear me ask for one dollar. Until then, I'm going to be radically realistic and ensure my work is paid for in a format I can use to live
2. If you would like to benefit from my lifetimes of experience in this realm, plus the time, dollars, energy and dedication I have put into my craft and personal development in this lifetime, best believe you will need to show up 100% ready to receive it. To signal that readiness you must be willing to part with your fear, your doubt, your resistance and your hesitancy. As a token of that willingness I will need you to pay me a set monetary amount to signal your readiness. If you do not agree with the amount, you are not ready or it is not aligned right now. Many people say they are ready but the proof really is in the pudding when you ask people to stay accountable by putting something on the line. Back in the day, you'd be asked to offer your first born child. All I'm asking is a few hundred dollars lol
I get that some people genuinely do not feel it is aligned to charge for their work. Do not mistake this post for me saying you MUST charge. What I am saying is you MUST look at your own wounding around money before declaring that you're set one way or another.
This is long term work. I was taken into the money lines of humanity and it was the single handed most fu**ed thing I've ever experienced. I was tasked with unlocking the True Abundance codes and I still work on my money energy and mindset all the time.
Not because money is the most important thing in the world, but because it is something that has been used to oppress and manipulate us so much. So therefore we ALL are carrying heavy trauma and wounding around money.
Until we address it, there it stays. So the way to move past the current paradigm of money is not to reject money.
Welcome it, witness it and your reactions to getting it/having it/giving it/losing it/keeping it etc. Do the work and see the results. Don't expect to wake up one morning in Utopia where you just trade with your neighbours and everyone is equal without being willing to sort your money s**t out first.
That's spiritually bypassing and wishful thinking at its finest.
The only path to Financial Liberation is through the path of witnessing, unpacking and addressing what's in your personal money lines. As uncomfortable as it is, it is absolutely necessary
