Screens at bedtime = less sleep for babies! 😳

We live in a digital world, but when it comes to baby sleep, screens might be making things harder. Here’s why:

🔵 Blue light blocks melatonin, making it harder for babies to fall asleep & stay asleep.
📡 EMFs from Wi-Fi and devices may contribute to restless sleep & night wakings.

💡 Instead, try gentle, tech-free sleep cues like dim lighting, bedtime stories, and lullabies. Your baby’s sleep (and development!) will thank you. 💕

Here’s the perfect cold-weather bedtime checklist to keep them snug as a bug without breaking a sweat:

👉 Gro Bags: Choose a TOG rating that suits your Baby's Sleep environment temperature (3.5 TOG is the MVP for sub-zero nights).
👉 Pyjamas: Opt for breathable fabrics like cotton or bamboo. Long sleeves and footies are winners!
👉 Bedding: Babies under 12 months? Stick to a fitted sheet—no blankets for safety. Over 1 year? A lightweight blanket can join the party.
👉 Top Tip: Pop your hand on their chest, not their hands or feet, to check if they’re warm enough. Cold hands don’t always mean a cold baby!

Fun fact: The average adult tosses and turns 10–12 times a night, but babies? They can clock in over 20 wiggles—another reason layers should be cozy but not restrictive! 💤

Did you know that newborns don’t actually dream during those early months? 🤔💤
While babies spend plenty of time in light sleep, their first "real" dreams don’t kick in until they’re around 2-3 years old. And what do little ones dream about when the dreams do come? Simple things like familiar faces, animals, and everyday experiences. 🐶👶

So, if your toddler is giggling in their sleep, they might just be dreaming of a fun game they played with you! 😊
