Olly from SINK GOLF's got a fantastic story - he knew what he wanted to make, bought a Dugard machine in an auction and taught himself how to use it, with a bit of help from us and of course YouTube. Loved watching Tom Skubala from MTDCNC with Caroline Day in the Adnet workshop - takling about their new SMEC lathe and showcasing ALL the other Dugard machines they've got: https://youtu.be/4huH7bE9sOI

Their new SMEC is truly a fantastic investment, Caroline points out that it's doing more work than BOTH the lathes it's replaced! They estimate that it's running parts at 30% less time and saving money, which must be a huge relief when you see the volume of work they need to get through - they're so incredibly busy.

Tom Skubala from MTDCNC visited Mark Love at Dicker Precision Components Ltd in Hailsham recently to see how they're getting on with their new Dugard 1100 VMC.

It's been a great addition to their range of machines, Mark says "We are very happy with the machine. It was originally bought to replace an older machine that we were having reliability issues with. Now we have the new Dugard machine, it literally hasn’t stopped working since it was installed and it has significantly increased our capacity"

Dicker have been Dugard customers for decades, they've got plenty of machines from us, and their most recent acquisition slots nicely in to increase their production.

They got their new 1100 with Niken 4th axis and Renishaw probing. And they got it quickly, just 2 weeks after Mark had seen it at our showroom in Hove.

Paul Jones from MTDCNC went down to Darren's workshop in Essex a few years ago to talk to him about his SMEC SL2000 and he couldn't have been more impressed - clearly this robust turning centre is still delivering for him.

They're at Dicker Precision in Hailsham and it shows just what a slick operation Mark's running over there. The organisation is absolutely fantastic - not just the jobs that are in production, but the factory itself. Every tool, collet, piece of material is ready for action, it's no surprise they've got such a busy unit.

They also showed us the brand new Dugard 1100 VMC. That machine is really giving them a return on their investment, filling swarf bins and churning out work all day long.

Yet another Dugard machine delivered to Liam Fernard at DGF Engineering LTD. It's a Dugard 550 VMC https://www.dugard.com/.../dugard-550-vertical-machining.../ with a fantastically compact footprint, perfect to replace their first ever CNC machine. The old one served them well but Liam's confident this new investment will increase their capacity - no problem there, it's got 11,000rpm, BT40 and 16 tool ATC.

Liam says, "I honestly cannot fault the service from start to finish.
Looking forward to tomorrow to get it up and running and cutting metal." It's always a pleasure to make sure our long standing customers get exactly what they need to make sure their production is seamless.

It has an innovative tooling capability with reinforced back tool and double hinged B axis unit. Dugard 2000XP VMC off to its new home in Basingstoke this morning.

At the bigger end of the Dugard XP range this impressive VMC is being delivered with 36 tools, Siemens control, BT40 and 12,000rpm belt driven spindle. It has 2060mm X axis travel, 850mm Y axis travel and 815mm Z axis travel as well as 18.5kW spindle motor and 33/33/25 m/min rapid feeds in X/Y/Z, take a look at the full spec: https://www.dugard.com/product/dugard-2000xp-vertical-machining-centre/

Another Dugard VMC delivered yesterday to Mark Drummond's customer in East Sussex. This it was a Dugard 760XP. With a compact footprint, 12,000rpm, 28 tools and 4th axis it's a fantastically robust machining centre for its size.
