The Outlook Foundation

After extensive building work in 2011, Outlook House now provides ensuite facilities for residents and a large training centre.

The Outlook Foundation is a charity empowering adults with learning disabilities through safe, supportive homes, where they can learn the life skills they need to live as independently as they choose. The Outlook Foundation is an Independent Registered Charity who has successfully managed homes for people with learning disabilities since 1997, when the charity opened Outlook House. Home to 12 young men and women it fulfils the charity’s Mission Statement to provide ‘quality living and training in preparation for independence, appropriate to ability for people aged 18+ with learning disabilities’. The charity recognised the desperate need for Supported Living accommodation for adults over the age of 25 and in October 2004 opened Gaynor Forster House. The tenants live independently, assisted by support staff they lead full and integrated lives. The appropriately named Jean Marshall House was officially opened by Lord Lloyd, President of the charity, in April 2008. Managed as a Supported Living service, staff encourage and prepare the young people to take their place in society.

Hello to all you lovely followers!
The Guys and Gals at Gaynor Forster House are working on an art project to revamp the hallway, stairwells and landings to inject some fun and colour.
They need picture frames of all shapes and sizes, from small to large, (up to A3). The colour or condition is not a problem as they can paint or decorate them.
They would be really grateful if you have anything suitable lying around that you’d be happy to donate to them.
