I had the most amazing time at the elephant sanctuary in Koh Samui. They really take care of the elephants or who have been rescued from terrible circumstances and now living a life that they couldn’t have had before it was one of the best experiences I’ve had and share size of the elephant is incredible.

I graduated yesterday as a Master of Science MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health. I achieved a pass merit. It was something I never expected.

It’s never too late to achieve the things that you dream about.

I wanted to study Neuroscience for very long time, after my brain tumor in 2008 I felt drawn to understand more about the function of the brain and how I could make a difference in helping my Stroke and Brain injury clients to recover. I signed up for the MSc with and despite travelling across the globe and working in various different locations I knuckle down because I’ve made a commitment not only to the University but to myself.

It’s easy to forget the importance of committing to ourselves and seeing a project from the start to finish. No matter what.

The easiest thing to do is to give up when it gets tough, but that’s when your resilience kicks in. That’s when you have to go back to the beginning and ask yourself, why did you start in the first place there was a reason, there was a strong desire wanting to achieve something, ask yourself what was that and then get back on track.

Don’t give up on yourself keep on achieving no matter how small the task may be make it matter to you.

Turmeric Golden Paste Recipe

Turmeric is a really powerful addition to your healthy lifestyle support. Research suggests that It’s actually the curcumin within the turmeric that you need to absorb by preparing turmeric golden paste it allows the body to absorb up to 95% of the curcumin within in comparison if you just sprinkle turmeric powder on your food you will only absorb up to 5% of the curcumin so you can see why it’s worth making your golden paste.

It will keep for up to 4 weeks in the fridge But I guarantee that you’ll have used it by then I’ll be making your second batch 😃

You’re not failing if you find yourself stopping and starting.

What you are doing is processing the changes that are happening on that journey and as long as you are prepared to make adjustments and pick back up again then it’s okay you are going to have a really successful venture.

When it becomes destructive is when we stop and we think we failed and we just don’t learn from that experience and we give up.

You are not a quitter or you would not have been prepared to even start to change.

No need, want, desire or pressure to give up today.

You are stronger than that and because you’re willing to feel a little bit uncomfortable in order to keep keep moving forward and achieve extraordinary optimum health it will become real.

Leave the failure behind forget that word and start to tell yourself how incredibly brave you are to be achieving success every day.

How can you expect your brain to work and send the signals that are needed for your body to work well if you don’t feed it with the right stuff or create the right environment for your body to work optimally?

I’m curious why do we just ignore the signals things like brain fog are telling us that certain parts of our body aren’t able to work the way that they should.

With billions of signals and messages being sent throughout our brain every second of every day when something goes wrong it can have a serious effect on our movement, On mood, digestion, sleep, disease, motivation and these are just a few things that can be affected when our brain function is not supported by our environment we can have a serious effect on our ability to change so it may not just be a case of you thinking more positively it’s likely to be a case of you doing more positive actions that are going to create the ripple effect and enable you to start thinking differently and changing your behaviours.

Me ok then Let’s just stay here where it’s safe and wait for the changes to happen 🤔

You: I don’t have time for all this…

Me: All what?

You: This getting healthy malarkey.

Me:ok then.

You wait?

Me: what’s up?

You: can you just send me something?

Me: you mean like a magic pill that can miraculously make all things better?

You: yesssss

Me: Your not ready

You: go on please I need help.

Me: start taking your health seriously and realising that it’s your responsibility and give me a call.
