Fighting for beliefs you struggle to be open to as possibly wrong will stunt your growth, happiness and success. It will also hurt the people around you as you fight to be right.

Drop it for 2026 and entertain the idea you could be wrong. It’s life changing in so many ways to explore what you believe. Don’t be a prisoner to this mindset, let it go and be free.

New 10 mile PB 1.17 ❤️.

I remember hating running when I started years ago. I felt heavy, unfit and my mind lied a lot (which I always fell for). But I persevered by running with friends and running groups such made it so much easier.

Running has been incredible for my mental and physical health. I’ve made incredible friends and am in awe of the energy and their mindsets to just got it and do their best. 🔥🔥🔥

It’s be a huge challenge for my mindset to continue pushing through illusionary mental walls and myself to reach new goals with each race. One thing I remind myself when it’s getting hard is that no matter how hard it feels, there is a future me that would give anything to be where I am again right now.

If you are in on the fence about running, I heartily recommend it as a goal to get into for 2026 to benefit, mind, body and soul. ❤️. Do the couch to 5k program and find a running club to join. Here in Brighton we have so many to try out to find your tribe 😍.

Maybe I will see you one day on the starting line and we can cheer each other on. 🤗.

Keep moving 🙌❤️

A new Cochrane review of 73 studies involving nearly 5,000 people found that exercise may be as effective as antidepressants and psychological therapy for reducing symptoms of depression.

This is a reminder that our bodies have innate healing mechanisms that we can activate through lifestyle.

Exercise is one of the most powerful interventions we have for mental health. It reduces inflammation, improves mitochondrial function, balances neurotransmitters, and supports brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) production.

And for many people struggling with depression, it may be the first line of defense—not the last resort.

If you're dealing with depression, talk to your doctor about incorporating movement into your treatment plan. Start small. Even 20-30 minutes of walking can make a difference.

SAVE AND USE THIS AT BED TIME ❤️ SEE ⬇️

Slow eye movements switch the default mode network off which fuels your mind thinking by engaging the brainstem and oculomotor nerves.

Add a cool pack to the forehead and you go deeper.
Cooling signals safety through the trigeminal nerve, lowers prefrontal overactivity, and activates the parasympathetic nervous system.

This is one of my favourite eye movement techniques that instantly interrupts a racing mind. Your mind is being overstimulated by modern life so give it a break.

It calms your default mode network part of the brain which fuels your thoughts and narratives.

Quiet default mode network = quiet mind.

The more you practice, you give more space for t calm, stillness, presence and clarity to be experienced.

“I wonder what my next thought will be?
“ who’s my mind talking to?”
“Show me my next thought?”

Stops your inner voice in its tracks and can reveal your thoughts are not created by you, they are a product of your ego and you don’t have to be imprisoned and held back by them.
