Echo Performing Arts Inclusive performing arts company based in Brighton, East Sussex led by Sarah & Lydia who've worked together on projects since 2009.

We provide workshops/sessions led by neurodivergent people/people with learning disabilities for participants of all ages.

Fabulous Stars runs every Friday 4pm-5pm at Woodingdean Community Centre. £8 per session.

Thank you so much for all of your amazing donations to us to buy a new projector - we have exceeded our target to buy this and we are over the moon! All your money will go towards the projector, additional equipment for it, and snacks and drinks for our dancers to enjoy together! We are unbelievably grateful, and super excited!

We need to say a special thank you to Eva, who has raised a lot of these funds by doing a sponsored walk throughout August to help us achieve our goal! Thank you so much Eva! 🥰

🌟 We currently run 4 x sessions per week:

Wednesday - Jazz Hands Dance (please contact us to be put on the waiting list)

Thursday - Dreams (spaces available)

Friday - Fabulous Stars (spaces available)

Sunday - The Far Far Away Musical (please contact us to be put on the waiting list)

🧑🏻‍🦽💃🏻🕺🏻We also run bespoke workshops, performance courses and leadership courses for organisations, day services, schools and colleges.

🤩 Previously we have worked with Downs View Life Skills College, Grace Eyre, TogetherCo, T21 and we are very excited to be leading a session in the Dream Centre at Chailey Heritage Foundation next week.

🙋🏻We love connecting with people, and outside of sessions we like to set up social events and opportunities for our dancers.

🎭 Defying Gravity 🎭

Over the last six weeks, our Active Lives performance group worked closely with Echo Performing Arts, a disability-led dance and drama organisation. 🤝

The joint group developed a unique dance and drama routine under the leadership of Harry Fairchild. 💃🕺

To mark the end of this special six-week collaboration, they showcased their work in a 15-minute performance called Defying Gravity. 🎭

What an amazing show! Well done to everyone involved. 👏
