🌱Door is open on every Sunday (11am-1pm)
We all know that gardening is good for our body and mind. However, it can be a mix of emotions in the process and most likely slips off our mind in the beginning if you take it as a chore on top of many in life. We invite you to take it easy, one plant at a time. We strongly recommend you tend the plot regularly, put “DharmAllotment” on each Sunday of your calendar. Regardless of how little time you have, even just show up and sit here for a moment, listen to the bird songs, watch the leaves sway, it’s peaceful. By taking this commitment you are establishing a new lifestyle and a relationship with the land, community, and yourself. Even more wildly, you’re re-wiring your DNA by modifying your epigenetic.
🌻How to engage
The land has its needs according to cycles/seasons, so does the human-formed community. We encourage you to listen deeply and contribute your ideas and efforts to make them happen.
👨🌾 Try to plant a vegetable yourself, either from a seed or seedling, care for it and watch it grow. It’s a rewarding learning journey.
💪 Participate in building and maintaining facilities. Such as a compost heap and a semi-private earth toilet.
🪶 Occasionally we will organise wellness events* alongside gardening. Such as an open-air sound bath, Qigong, fire ceremonies, tea ceremonies and herb workshops etc. An annual harvest party is also possible. Community members are welcome to contribute your gifts.
🦋 You are free to share your observations and results (either success or failure) to our group. Please, allotment related topics only.
*We’d like to make this community and space as nonprofit as possible, but a donation for event contributors is advisable when you attend one.
