Yo!

I am super excited to announce that FIT is moving it’s physical business to and first week of December which is when lockdown will hopefully have lifted.

Christian (Founder, Head Coach) is a Level 2 and Level 3 Personal Trainer with specialisms is Outdoor Fitness, Sports Conditioning, Indoor Cycling and Exercise Referral. I also run a variety of online classes including HIIT and Kettle Bells. Then vs Now.

Looking healthier and happier is one of many gifts of my recovery, but it’s the internal work that always trumps the external. The external is by product. I used to have a tendency to wait until an area of my life got painful enough which meant that taking action was the only option.
Today, my approach is that there’s never a right time to START anything and that includes working on the mind, body and spirit transformation and lifestyle overhaul. Thankfully, my pain threshold is pretty low. I jumped off the the drink and drug elevator as it was going down and began to do the work necessary to overcome my demons. Today, I’m far more mindful and conscious of how I spend my time and where I focus my energy so that I’m not only healthier but aligned with my goals that feed into my truest self.

Feeling blessed after an epic weekend spent with and . I truly am experiencing the gifts of recovery. Today, I look after myself by being active, staying connected, making things happen. I don’t have a desire today to drink or use substances. I don’t experience hangovers and waste days in bed. Life is for living today. I move the needle forward and leave the rest up to my higher power. Clean house, trust God and help others.

Morning workout done. I’m purely focussing on compound lifts and movements like squats, lunges, deadlifts, bench press, dips etc 😊.

Diet wise, I’ve not eaten meat in 3 years, but I recently introduced fish (salmon and tinned fish mostly), eggs and Greek yoghurt on the very rare occasion. Still mostly whole plant based foods though.😊

My body is responding well in terms of muscle hypertrophy and I’m experiencing an slight increase in strength and more energy throughout the day as a result of my morning weight training, decent diet and increased water consumption.

I’m seeing also seeing a significant improvement in my sleep pattern when I’m not messing about on my phone in the evenings. Got to get that evening wind down time dialled in!

Experiencing less need for caffeine and those tempting sugary treats also 💯

It’s great to know what’s important to you and to have goals and dreams but are you consciously making time to work towards your goals and have you implemented effective systems?

Make time for yourself in the mornings to ensure you following through on what’s important to you. Yes, you may have to wake up a little earlier before work, but you’ll thank your future self for that small sacrifice.

What are you currently not making time for?
