The Bristol Paws Project We are a volunteering/fundraising society made of vet and vet nurses from the University of Bristol🧡

🐾 The Bristol Paws Project is a volunteering and fundraising society that started in 2016

🧡 We are a group of veterinary and veterinary nursing students from the University of Bristol passionate about reducing the financial barriers to pet ownership and raising awareness about the benefits of the animal-human bond.

❓What do we do❓

➜ We work with many charities and organisations in the Bristol community who share the same vision as us. StreetVet, Bristol Outreach Services for the Homeless - BOSH, Bristol Animal Rescue centre and Caring in Bristol.

➜ We do regular outreaches with StreetVet, where our committee members join volunteer vets to provide essential pet care and supplies to those in need. We also work with Bristol Outreach Services for the Homeless (BOSH) where we hand out pet food and supplies to pet owners experiencing homelessness.

💬 We run educational talks throughout the year mainly based on shelter medicine and fundraisers to support the work we do and the charities we work with.

The Langford freshers fair bake sale is just around the corner, and we need your help! We’re looking for generous cake donations to support our cause. All funds raised will go directly to PAWS 🐾 Your support would mean the world to us (and to the animals)! 🧡
