That look when your dog knows something feels “off”… but can’t quite tell you where 🐾

This gorgeous red setter gently put her paw on my foot and just stared — not dramatic, not limping, just quietly asking for help in the only way she could.

Dogs don’t always show obvious pain.
Sometimes it’s:
• A look
• A shift in posture
• Less enthusiasm on walks
• Subtle stiffness getting up

They adapt incredibly well… until they don’t.

If your dog seems a little “not quite right” but you can’t put your finger on why, trust that instinct. Early support can make a big difference to comfort, movement, and long-term joint health.

🐾 Clinic Guest of the Week: Bessie 🐾

This is Bessie, a beautiful Romanian rescue who often comes along when her mum has treatment. Once nervous in new places, Bessie now happily settles in, watches the world go by, and soaks up the calm atmosphere like a total pro 💛

We love seeing rescue dogs grow in confidence — and Bessie is a perfect example of how patience, consistency, and feeling safe can make all the difference. She’s gentle, curious, and very much part of the clinic family when she visits.

Dogs have an amazing way of reminding us to slow down, breathe, and relax… Bessie does that effortlessly 🐶✨ Plus she LOVES a treat!

This lovely boy has ongoing knee issues due to a luxating patella, which isn’t severe enough to warrant surgery but does benefit from ongoing support.

He stays happy and active with regular maintenance treatments, including gentle spinal manipulation and low-level laser therapy to support comfort and mobility.

He didn’t enjoy treatment at first and, like many dogs who struggle at the vets, found the environment challenging. By taking things slowly and building trust at his pace, he now genuinely enjoys his sessions.

Don’t be fooled by the cute looks though — if he’s not happy with something, he’s very clear about it! A classic (and beautiful) Patterdale Terrier 🖤🐾

Our Canine Chiro Clients Can't Get Enough Cuddles!

Pearl's Incredible Journey 🐾❤️

From the streets of Cyprus to a loving home in the UK, Pearl's story is one of resilience and hope. This brave girl, despite being an amputee and recovering from pellet wounds, has found a beautiful family to call her own.

I recently had the pleasure of assessing Pearl to check for joint issues. Although she was understandably nervous, she was also incredibly sweet and gentle. It was an honour to meet such a resilient and loving soul.
