Iโ€™m not just saying this for views / clicks / likes - this is from experience of working with well over 100 Dads now.

The Dads who actually achieve their goals, have one thing in common - They Plan. Every Week. Without Fail.
And the other guys, who end up back where they started (again) or who fail spectacularly and end up even worse off, also have one thing in common - they did ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜ do regular (or any) planning!

It doesnโ€™t have to be hard or complicated to work either.
You know the โ€˜whatโ€™ to do, but what about the โ€˜whenโ€™.
If you donโ€™t deliberately put time aside to fit things in, youโ€™re still winging it.

Things like:
๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ Scheduling Gym / Training / Sport - so that you can actually show up
๐Ÿง† Organising your main meals, snacks and generally โ€˜betterโ€™ nutrition - it doesnโ€™t happen by chance!
๐Ÿ› Improving your sleep hygiene - take steps and action, otherwise nothing changes
๐Ÿ’ง Hydrate better - your body and mind will thank you for this easy win!
๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ Put time aside to actively Rest - slumping on the sofa, doom-scrolling tiktok might feel good in the moment, but it is not going to pay you back like real mindful rest and recovery!

Not rocket science for someone as smart as you right! ๐Ÿš€
Your Career did not happen by accident - you planned it, executed on it and made it happen.

Itโ€™s been an interesting challenge - but no challenge at all compared to actually dealing with Cancer!
Iโ€™ve done my first 7 Days of 100(+) Push Ups, with some done in random / weird places (much to the embarrassment of my 11 year old Daughter ๐Ÿ˜…)

Iโ€™ve been blown away by the generosity and support, and have over ยฃ500 already. So I am super motivated to nail this every single day through April, despite the sore triceps ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Translation: did three half-hearted sets while scrolling Instagram and calling it โ€˜workโ€™.

โ€œGot my steps in.โ€
Hmmmโ€ฆ you walked from the car to the office and back!๐Ÿ‘€

Hereโ€™s the uncomfortable truth:

Hardly rocket science, and yet so many Dads I know, flog themselves with running, HIIT, Spin Class, or some other painful form of self-flagellation that they fc***ng hate and then wonder why they give up on it within a few weeksโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ™„

Please - for the love of [๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ด๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ต ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜บ] - choose a form of exercise that you enjoy doing, and even better with someone else that enjoys it too!
Then youโ€™ll keep bloody doing it, thereby expending & improving energy, building strength / fitness / stamina / cardiovascular health, and contributing to your Health - both Mental and Physical.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

โ“Come on then, fess upโ€ฆ what horrible exercise did you once try in the hope it would help and then ditch it after a few tries?๐Ÿ’ฌ

I used to be a runner and recently tried getting back into that, but it flippin smashes my poor old knees, so itโ€™s back on the Iโ€™m-not-doing-that-again pile! ๐Ÿ˜…

I'll be having a ๐˜๐—ผ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น ๐˜€๐˜„๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฐ๐—ต ๐—ผ๐—ณ๐—ณ, aside from popping some jealousy-inducing stories from my holiday here! ๐Ÿ˜

All Clients are feeling supported (a special one-or-two will get a text check-in), gym-floor clients are on shut-down(!), and I am ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜ taking the laptop or doing ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜† ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐˜„๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ธ for this trip.
I tried to take everything with me on the last big family holiday, and whilst I still enjoyed supporting clients, it definitely became a minor frustration whilst my family were at the pool / beach / or buffet without me! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

So this year. I'm 100% out!
I'll still check some socials and maybe respond to messages, but mostly the phone is going to be locked in the safe after exploring the resort and beach and getting some pictures...

I'll also get LOADS of content ideas as usual, so will need to make some notes, videos, voice notes etc for using them later.
