COSY CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISER - tickets £3 including hot chocolate & Christmas movie!!!! Crochet kits on sale for £5 additionally (all materials included) to make a keychain/christmas decoration!! Come join us for a lovely festive evening starting at 5pm :) All ticket proceeds going towards supporting MSF

WHY JOIN FOMSF COMMITTEE?
- great opportunity to get more insight into humanitarian aid with invitations to attend FOMSF conference and committee training day
- ability to have more input into what events we put on
- get to know students in other years and on other courses with common interests
- looks good on CV!!
- small society so workload not overwhelming

Super excited to welcome MSF doctor, Dr Michael Harrison on Thursday April 3rd for a talk! This will take place in Wills memorial building room 3.3.

Dr Harrison is an emergency medicine and pre hospital emergency consultant and he has worked with MSF in Syria and Yemen.

Please come along for an interesting talk about his experiences working in emergency humanitarian settings, refugee health and how to get involved in MSF work. The event is free, so hope to see as many of you and your friends there as possible!!

Join us for an Arabic and French taster session. Open to beginners, we will teach you some basics as well as some useful medical language. Both languages are incredibly useful if you want to get involved in MSF in the future, so come along for a taster!

Sunday March 30th, 4:30pm. Senate house room 5.20. Tickets are £2 via link below with all proceeds going to MSF!

GIVE IT A GO - Film screening!!
Saturday 28th of September 5pm! Snacks provided. Purchase tickets via the link below - all proceeds go to MSF. Will also have a social and go for drinks after. A great way to learn about what MSF does and introduce yourself to some friendly faces! Film title is ‘Human Cargo’ and screening will be in room 5.22 in senate. Hope to see lots of you there!!

Who are we, and what do we do?

Bristol Friends of MSF is part of the official student organisation for Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF), an independent international humanitarian aid charity which provides medical aid where it is most needed. We are the Student division for the Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders also known as FoMSF. FoMSF is committed to raising awareness of MSF’s work and fundraising for ongoing and future MSF projects that MSF run. From talks by those who have returned from MSF missions, to debates, film screenings and various fundraising events, all of our work revolves around the theme of humanitarian aid.
