I had THE longest day yesterday, on a Saturday as well 🙈 but I came home feeling more awake and happier than I have in a while!
I met 3 of my clients yesterday, went to the vench, did some pebble painting, played some bingo and even received a bunch of flowers as a thank you.
The people we work with at Respite4you are the kindest, gentlest most loving people you meet 💗and I am very excited to see this business grown and support even more wonderful families

Is anyone getting rid of any noisey toys or toys/books that play nursery rhymes?

Looking to get a few second hand ones for my sensory bag to help with some of my young people on my sessions, some of them LOVE the music and will play them for hours, but I havnt intested yet!

I am working with a lovely family and young girl who have some extra hours that I am unable to cover, mainly on Sundays but some school holidays too.

She has a medium level of need and has to be 1:1 at all times
She loves music and nursery rhymes, and really enjoys musical interactive toys

As mentioned last week, big changes are coming!

I have handed my notice in at the school I worked at and am now doing full time into my buisness!

I'm stressed but excited.... I now have 5 amazing families on my books and cannot wait to add some more!

This week I have celebrated witn J and N and an seeing M today! Here's to a positive future!!

🌟Final day of the half term and we went out with a bang, with a fun filled day of colouring, editing our masks, some arcade games and a game of bowling🌟

My only complaint is that E's mum didn't warn me that she is a bowling wizard! 🧙‍♂️

So much for me updating every day during the holidays... we have been so busy!!

🚀Tuesday N and i had a trip to aerospace as well as a hunt round asda for a new colouring book (distracted by toys of course!

🐶 Wednesday M and I went to the dog park and made loads of new friends, then went to play pool, which we decided against as M wanted to practice her dog drawings ( which are of course incredible) and I wanted to try and make a dream catcher (it did not go to plan 🙈)

👩‍🌾 Today N and I went to Grimsbury Community Farm, Kingswood, South Gloucestershire had a drink and read some books in the cafe, walked round the farm to find all the animals (whilst singing old Mcdonald) and then back home for some more nursery rhymes!

I'm not sure about them but I am pooped, and have had the best week! Looking forward to my session with E tomorrow 💜

First day of the holidays and we have gone in strong!! Back to Super Sense Bristol with N who interacted with more of the sensory toys today than our last visit, and an amazing helping hand from M (my very first client!) Who is incredibly skilled with young people and wanted to help me out today, and had some fantastic ideas for me to put into place.

Back home now with a coffee before walking the fluffballs and planning tomorrow's session 💜

Had a brilliant session today meeting a new client! She loves crafts and shopping... so off to hobby craft we went to pick up some goodies and got decorating. We even managed to squeeze in a subway lunch and a karaoke session in the car too!
