Most people I work with come to me feeling stuck.
Theyāve tried cutting foods, adding supplements, following advice online⦠but still struggle with digestive issues. Once we get to know each other better and I can see what youāre eating and doing now I can make a plan which gives you:Ā
ā ļø Less urgency
ā ļø Less bloating
ā ļø More confidence with food
ā ļø More energy for everything else in life
And yes⦠apparently thatās all very inconvenient š
If youāre ready for that kind of āproblemā, comment RESET and Iāll send you how info on how it all works.

Can tomatoes really be a friend or foe for your digestion? š
Drop a š if you've ever wondered if you should cut them out!
So many people avoid tomatoes because they worry about acidity, histamine, or high FODMAP content. But did you know cooked tomatoes actually boost antioxidants like lycopene and support your heart and eye health?
Yet, raw tomatoes can cause bloating, gas, or reflux in some people due to fructose and acidity.
Itās all about knowing your bodyās limits and starting small. Try tinned or cooked tomato products first.
How do you get on with tomatoes? Tell me in the comments. I'd love to hear! š¬
And if you're curious about how individual foods affect your gut, save this for later!

𤫠Did you know this about SIBO diets? There's so much written about SIBO diets but we don't have evidence to back it up.
If you get a strong reaction to certain foods there is no need to eat them.
But you don't need to avoid gluten, dairy, sugar, FODMAPs, just because you have an overgrowth.
Have you heard this before?

I'm constantly juggling time with my gut health clients, social media to get more clients, and creating free content to help your digestion (like my blogs and podcast episodes) but behind all that there is hours obsessing about a tiny detail, or worrying about next steps.
If you have your own business what's the unhinged things you do behind the scenes?

I don't know who wrote this, but thank you to whoever left this review of Inside Knowledge for people with IBS and SIBO on Amazon.
My realisation this week was to stop chasing the stats. Im also really bad at looking at my figures for podcast downloads, email subscribers, etc!
Yes I still want to sell more copies of the book but also to remember why I spent so long writing it, and who it's for. And let that drive my work more than the numbers.
Ps - if you already have bought it, please leave me a review on Amazon or Goodreads. Thank you!

I was recently asked how much I make being a nutritionist. And it got me thinkingā¦what I make in money isnāt as much as it was, but I really love what I do make for people with IBS.
Living with IBS can take over your day
š½checking where the nearest toilet is
š½second guessing every meal
š½avoiding dinner with your friends ājust in caseā
š½Loss of trust in your body because itās so unpredictable
Working with me can help you stop planning your day around your digestion. It gets SO exhausting.
In my 3 month Gut Reset Iāll help you understand your gut, so going to the toilet and meal times start to feel more consistent.
I had never been someone who takes big decisions rashly before, but this just felt right. And I'm so glad it worked out.
I've been a nutritionist for 10 years now and I'm so proud of where I've got to:
š Book came out this Jan; Inside Knowledge for people with IBS and SIBO
š 3 years of my podcast: Inside Knowledge for people with IBS

I bet youāve probably wondered if youāve got IBS at some point
In truth, for most people, the formal diagnosis doesnāt really matter⦠What really is important, is being able to identify the root cause of your symptoms so you can manage them without medication, and ultimately alleviate them.
Iām Anna Mapson. Iām a nutritionist who specialises in all things ādigestive healthā and I help people get rid of their IBS symptoms.
Butā¦Iām 100% not about āone size fits allā. I donāt believe is that everyone with typical IBS symptoms should be cutting things out of their diets and following low FODMAP plans.
Iām a big believer in everyone being able to understand their own bodies and their own symptom triggers and building a diet and lifestyle plan around that.
I can help you to:
track your symptoms in a really simple but meaningful way to understand them better
rebalance your digestive system
access group support to make long lasting changes to your digestive health
Do you struggle to know what is a healthy diet and find the masses of information online about 'healthy' eating contradictory and confusing....
Or maybe you just want some tips on how to feel less bloated, have more energy, sleep better or rebalance your hormones...
Or you have tried various dietary changes but can't make anything stick?
You are in the right place
I can help through nutritional therapy to rebalance your gut bacteria and feel like you've got your old zing back!
I understand it's hard to make changes to your diet, our emotions and beliefs can be tied up with eating and food. I will support you through this process every step of the way.
So let me tell you what I do:
My focus is on support development of a healthy gut because digestive imbalances are at the root of many symptoms, even if there are no digestive symptoms
I get to the root cause of your issues using a detailed questionnaire and interview during our initial appointment, face to face or Skype.
I support my clients using regular coaching sessions to make real sustainable changes to their diet. I'm accessible with weekly calls, and regular email contact. We tweak the diet plan as we go, moving at your pace, to fit with your lifestyle.
I help you meet your health goals and will push you where you need it, or support your when you need it, we work together.
What you eat has a profound impact on your body and mind. I see results in my clients through simple but effective dietary changes.
