🎶 A Colourful Afternoon of Music & Joy at Glebe House 🌈

This afternoon at Glebe House, we were delighted to welcome Katie from Bristol Umbrella 🎹

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of music as Katie played the piano, filling the room with familiar and much-loved tunes. Everyone joined in, singing along and creating such a joyful, uplifting atmosphere throughout the home.

There were plenty of smiles and laughter as residents also enjoyed waving the wonderful bright colours, bringing even more energy, movement, and fun to the session 🌈✨

A truly lovely afternoon shared by all — thank you, Katie, for bringing music, colour, and happiness to Glebe House 💛

🌸 A New Outing for Quarry House 🌸

A new spot for Quarry House this morning! Residents enjoyed a lovely visit to Kemps Garden Centre 🌿

There were endless flowers and quirky garden décor to admire, giving everyone plenty to look at and talk about 🌼✨

After exploring, we headed to the café for a relaxing break and some refreshments ☕🍰

A really enjoyable outing, with a great time had by all 💛

👶 Lullaby Circle at Beech House 👶

We had another lovely lullaby circle session this morning, filled with singing, chatting, and plenty of cuddles with the babies 🎶💛

The joy that a smiling baby brings to our residents is truly immeasurable — such a special and heartwarming experience for everyone involved ❤️

Moments like these create lasting memories and bring so much happiness to the home 👶✨

🎈 Movement & Fun at Field House 🎈

Yesterday at Field House, staff and residents came together for a lively exercise and movement session 💛

Using pom poms and balloons, we added a fun and colourful twist to the activities, bringing plenty of energy, smiles, and laughter to the room 🎉

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, moving together, and enjoying the moment 🫶🏼

🚶‍♀️ Walking Club at Beech House 🚶‍♂️

Today’s walking club may have been a smaller group, but it was just as full of smiles and laughter 🫶🏼

Along the way, we even made a new little friend — does anyone know the name of our visitor? 🐾😊

We didn’t go too far today, but we made plenty of pit stops to admire the scenery. With beautiful weather, the perfect temperature, and even better company, it made for a truly lovely outing 🌿☀️

Even on our shorter walks, there’s always lots of laughter and joy 🫶🏼

🚶‍♀️ A Lovely Morning Walk at Glebe House 🚶‍♂️

This morning at Glebe House, we enjoyed our weekly walking club around the beautiful village of Almondsbury 🌿

After our walk, we stopped off at the community shop for a well-earned break, where residents enjoyed a cup of tea or coffee along with some delicious lemon cake 🍰☕

A perfect way to spend the morning — fresh air, good company, and a tasty treat to finish 💛

🌱 A Lovely Garden Session at Quarry House 🌱

This morning, residents at Quarry House enjoyed a wonderful gardening session with our lovely gardener, Nataliia 🌼

Nataliia gave a great presentation about the plants the residents will be growing, including strawflower and dill seeds 🌸🌿 She also showed how well the previously planted flowers are coming along, which sparked lots of conversations and fond memories of gardens residents have loved over the years 💛

To top off the session, Graham and Nataliia treated everyone to a little dance, bringing plenty of smiles and laughter to end the morning 💃😊

🎶 A Special Family Moment at Beech House 🎶

On Sunday, we were treated to a truly heartwarming performance from Brenda’s granddaughter, Poppy, who played the ukulele and sang one of Brenda’s favourite songs, “I’ll Never Find Another You” by The Seekers 🎤🎸

She was beautifully accompanied by Brenda herself, along with her daughter Sarah, making it an extra special family moment filled with love and music 💛

What a lovely moment, treasured by all who were there ❤️

Sunday was a truly special day as we celebrated Kathy’s incredible 98th birthday 🎂💐

It was such a joy to be able to share this milestone with her, surrounded by warmth, smiles, and well wishes from everyone at Glebe House 💛

🎵 A Relaxing Afternoon at Quarry House 🎵

Residents at Quarry House enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing afternoon in the company of harpist Julia 🎶

Julia played a selection of beautiful, soothing tunes on the harp, creating a calm and uplifting atmosphere. The session soon turned into a lovely singalong, with everyone joining in and sharing smiles along the way 🎤💛

A truly enjoyable afternoon that was appreciated by all ❤️

On Friday, we were delighted to welcome Kate to Field House to entertain our residents 🎤

She brought along a wonderful selection of percussion instruments, giving everyone the chance to join in and be part of the music 🥁✨

The room was filled with smiles, rhythm, and great energy — everybody was on fantastic form and thoroughly enjoyed the performance 🎶💛

A truly uplifting session that brought everyone together through the joy of music ❤️
