Are you a serial rusher like me? π
I have noticed recently that everything I seem to be doing has to be done with urgency.
A quick shower.
A quick snack.
A quick workout.
Fast became the norm and the stress that naturally comes with rushing became the default.
In a fast world which often rewards 'busy'ness it's often soooo hard to slow down and to even just do... Nothing...
A recent urine test I did showed that my adrenals were struggling and that was impacting hormone production. Functional test results that my 'gut instinct' already knew. So what am I going to do about it??
For me it's about focussing on stimulating my vagus nerve and getting out of that fight or flight response into my rest and digest. I'm currently doing this by:
π₯ Morning kundalini yoga which involves breath work, chanting (awesome for the vagus nerves) and meditation
π₯ Slowing down on tasks that don't need to be rushed- super slow water filter at the gym now = time to just be
π₯ Tryyyying to use down time for doing nothing (rather then default screen time- but this is soooo hard!)
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one though. Any fellow 'rushers' with me?? ππΌ Are you going to join me to aim to go slow?
