Chaotic-Minds Page created in memory of my cousin who died in 2011 after a long battle with his mental health. Hi there!

Information & Support for people with mental illness, their parents, carers, families & friends. My name is Caroline and I am a Holistic Well-being Practitioner. I am specialised in autism and have personal experience as a mother as well as a Practitioner. I have also personally experienced poor mental health and related physically conditions and in working with people diagnosed with other conditions but at the centre of my practice is my ethos to work with the person and what they are experiencing not the specific diagnostic label. I am fully qualified and insured and use all the modalities I’m qualified in for my own physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing that I use for working with clients. I hold a Masters research degree in Autism & have over 25 years experience as an autism mum; a Master Practitioner in NLP; a Nutritional Therapist; EFT, Sound Healing, Reiki, Crystal Healing & Assemblage Point Alignment Practitioner; Licensed Brain Gym Facilitator; trained & currently qualifying in Rhythmic Movement Therapy & Picture Tapping Practitioner & have done Suicide First Aid Training with ASIST & a follow-up CPD. I am a Weleda Wellness Advisor & incorporate all of my experiences, knowledge & modalities to provide an individualised person-centred holistic natural health & wellness service. I set up this page in memory of my cousin whose domain name was chaotic-minds and since then purchased this domain and have trained in many modalities to help myself, my family members, friends and clients. The Bristol Inter Faith Group is having a FREE event called ‘Being the Light’ happening on Sunday 25th January 2026 at 4pm at the Quakers meeting house in Redland.
✨There will be a mixture of readings and prayers on this theme from different Faith groups and then an invitation to share with others what ‘Being the Light’ means to those attending with each other followed by refreshments.

✨SCREEN TIME & A SAFE SCREENS PETITION TO GOVERNMENT INVITATION:

✨ Constantly using fingers to type and text instead of holding a pen in pincer grip to write is understood to connect regions of the brain for writing, learning & memory differently and not necessarily for the better.

✨The use of screens affects eye movements differently to writing on a page of paper that are also important for eye tracking, learning and memory, where the eyes are moving more up and down than from right to left which affects crossing left and right brain hemisphere connections

✨The constant light input to the eyes affects hormones such as melatonin, one of the most important antioxidants in our body and is important for sleep and circadian rhythms

✨Posture of working at a screen is also affecting learning and attention, including switching attention and concentration.

✨The way we move, our posture and how often we move and adapt to all our senses experiencing different environments affects our whole being, our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual states which in turn affects our behaviours…

✨The key to wellbeing is being aware of all this and choosing to create a BALANCE of everything as best we can - this will create well rounded states of being for learning, memory and give a balanced place for technology to support progress of learning, neurodevelopment and wellbeing in to our future for our children, descendants and humanity …
