James Dunn Yoga Yoga and meditation classes in Bristol. Hi, I’m James. I have had the benefit of practicing and learning with many gifted teachers.

I have been practicing yoga and meditation for 12 years, initially drawn by the positive impact the practices had on my insomnia and mental health. In the last 4 years I have been deepening my understanding of the breath as a tool for healing and transformation, creativity, stabilising energy and establishing a coherent experience of being fully alive. My goal in teaching is to co-create spaces of enquiry and exploration where, over time, you will develop an increasing familiarity with what arises within your experience and be able to craft movement, breath and meditation practices that you can take into your daily life, giving you greater freedom, choice and creativity. Alongside teaching yoga I am passionate about helping individuals and organisations to be their most powerful and effective, to deliver positive benefit into the world. I work as a strategic manager in the NHS and also offer workshops and training skills in wellbeing and organisational culture change. I completed a teacher training with Sudhir Rishi at Sampoorna Yoga in Goa, with Sarah Harlow at Yogasara, and have been working for many years with Christopher Gladwell.
