Euan and Neil found a common passion in their love of travel to remote parts of the world. They took this one step further by combining their passion with their careers. As experienced nurses working in travel health and public health Euan & Neil became frustrated with the poor quality e-learning available for health professionals. After leading the clinical education department of one of the UK’s largest nurse and pharmacist clinic networks, they channeled their experience to create Health Academy. They wanted to create a new, fun place for learning with a variety of learning options to suite the goals of the individual practitioner. Our mission is to improve the learning experience of healthcare professionals. We don’t just want you to improve your knowledge and skills so you’re better and more fulfilled in your job!

Rabies is one of the most serious infections in travel health medicine, yet surprisingly one of the most neglected. For UK travellers heading abroad, the risk is often dismissed as unnecessary or something that β€œonly happens to other people.” But rabies is almost always fatal once symptoms appear and recent real-life cases show that complacency can cost lives. With global travel increasing and exposure risks rising, it is more important than ever to make rabies vaccination a priority in travel consultations.

Why This Matters: Inclusive Support for All Learners
Imagine this: A pupil with asthma forgets their inhaler on sports day β€” would your school know how to support pupils with health conditions safely? Another has diabetes and needs insulin before lunch. A third is recovering from a seizure. Would your team know what to do?

Schools have a legal and ethical duty to support pupils with health conditions and medication needsβ€”ensuring safety, dignity, and access to learning.
